Hi Krushna (2022 TV Movie)

Superb movie
14 November 2023
It was really difficult to follow Indigenous movies tired of serial plagiarism, mindless direction and silly screenplay since about a decade. However many interesting movies/series are being produced with evolution of social media and OTT - such as this movie 'Hi Krushna'

It was a bit of late realisation this being an Odiya movie with such an unique storyline, that too very well scripted and directed. Combined with brilliant acting , screenplay and subtle incorporation of Odiya dialects makes this movie truly special to watch. It humourous without deviating off the plot.

Dubbed version of this movie should be released accross the country and the movie makers should draw some inspiration to evolve with time and focus on unique plots.

Hopefully this movie is able to set a good example for the rest of the Odiya movie industry.

Brilliant portrayal of Unconventional psychiatry
29 April 2020
David Tennant as Dr. Liang being the protagonist in this movie has set a very unique example of treating psychological illness through simplistic means. This movie set in 1960s opposes orthodox approach of psychiatry then with that of unconventional means such as simply establishing a common ground of communication with the patient, paying attention to their behavioral patterns and many more to comprehend the root cause of their illness. They deserve the kind of attention that any so called "normal" person in a society is entitled to which I have come across in some of Dr. Jung's books.

I would suggest to patiently watch this movie in order to grasp the underlying essence of this movie.
