Shoulder Dance (2023)
BAD MOVIE
I feel so bad for Matt Dallas. He's a great actor in a terrible movie. I could see how uncomfortable he was in this film alongside bad actors, bad director, bad script and story, bad editing, bad photography. Matt Dallas was on a hit TV show and now casting him in an amateur film production. It is so sad. I would like to be a famous producer to cast him in productions of his level and with A-list actors. It was very painful to watch this movie. I had to fast forward to get to the really point of the movie but there was none. I hurt to see Matt Dallas struggling to do his best to save this movie. When his boyfriend got naked in front of him the funny moment was that Matt didn't even look down 😂😂. I think in his mind was "Blue, don't get mad at me. It is just a movie so we can pay our chicken coop. " 😂😂😂
Love Island USA (2019)
Title: Love Island's Lack of Diversity Leaves Much to Be Desired
Love Island has been a guilty pleasure for many, offering a dose of drama, romance, and entertainment. However, it's hard to ignore the glaring oversight in its production - the show seems to be tailored exclusively for heterosexual viewers, leaving the LGBTQ+ community feeling excluded and marginalized.
From its inception, Love Island has maintained a frustratingly narrow focus on heterosexual relationships, effectively ignoring the existence and experiences of gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals. This lack of representation is not only disappointing but sends a clear message that these identities are somehow less valid or interesting. In an era where diversity and inclusion are more important than ever, Love Island's failure to embrace these values is deeply problematic.
The show's producer seems to have missed a crucial opportunity to broaden the narrative and reach a wider audience. By centering the storyline around only heterosexual relationships, they've perpetuated harmful stereotypes and reinforced the notion that only one type of love story is worth telling. This not only alienates LGBTQ+ viewers but also stunts the show's potential for growth and cultural relevance.
Additionally, the lack of LGBTQ+ representation on Love Island perpetuates the erasure of bisexual identities, which often face discrimination from both straight and gay communities. The failure to acknowledge and celebrate diverse sexual orientations further marginalizes a significant portion of the population, denying them the chance to see their stories reflected on screen.
In an era where television is becoming increasingly inclusive and open to exploring diverse relationships and identities, Love Island's refusal to adapt its format seems outdated and tone-deaf. It's a disservice to viewers who are looking for more authentic and relatable content, regardless of their sexual orientation.
In conclusion, Love Island's producer needs to take a long, hard look at the show's lack of diversity and representation. The world is evolving, and so should our entertainment. Ignoring the experiences and stories of LGBTQ+ individuals only hinders progress and perpetuates harmful stereotypes. It's high time for Love Island to step up its game and ensure that everyone's love story is worthy of being told and celebrated.
Queer as Folk (2022)
Not all gay men are the stereotype
Most gay men blend in with the heterosexual type, which is why they are not visible. Only the stereotype is visible and they are in the minority. Thus, most gay men do not identify with the characters in this series. This series show that's gay man's way of life, but it's not. It would be nice to have some characters not unidentified with the gay stereotype so that most gay men could identify with the character like the old series such as: Brian, Michael, Ben, Dr. David, Blake etc Like blue collar, white collar gay men but I still watch this series because it is so hard to find well produced gay series or movies.
