IMDb on the Scene - Interviews: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2018)
Mirth for thought.
Absolutely loved to see a spontaneous genius and a feminine intellectual at the same time. The show while portraying Midge's journey does not seem sanctimonious and portrays human vulnerability as well as taboo very well.
The jazz age, opulence, affairs, sexism: you name it, this show has it all.
Brilliantly scripted and beautifully acted.

Nuno Lopes.
The great music.
A good story which was unnecessarily sexed up and messed up later. The chemistry between Laura Haddock and Nuno Lopes is electric. The ending definitely makes the initial part of the series worthy of tolerance and even admiration.
Dickinson (2019)
Old with a dash of new.
Entertaining average show. The portrayal of Emily Dickinson as a regular girl rather than a prodigy is interesting. The song selection along with the indicative title display of every episode is new. A delectable expose of sexism and dogma .
