The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
My bro had taste for sure
I remember when my younger brother got this out for us too watch, he praised it and encouraged me to watch it too. I remember thinking that it was going to be rubbish but I had a spare afternoon so we did. I was wrong lol. This is literally the perfect movie. I've watched it many times since my first time and still love it. The timeline is fluid and relevant all through Andy and Reds journey. Morgan freeman narrates perfectly as always. The plot and sub plot are truly magnificent. The score is excellent and the ending on the beach is tear jerking and just broils with happiness. This is a story of an unlikely friendship that works beyond the scope of the expected within the walls of a place that would typically make it hard to have a bond with any other person. Perfection!

I really paid money for this?!?
I love shark movies but this one was terrible. The acting is rubbish. Here's an example: a young woman is waxing her surfboard in a wetsuit on the deck of a house and her father comes out and says "going for a surf?" Like duh?!? The shark scenes were limited and short. The musical score was terrible and often played louder than the actors when they were speaking so captions were needed. I didn't watch the entire thing as it was just cringy to watch. It had all the old tired haunts of a shark movie and was it porn music playing loudly at one stage. Honestly save your cash, this movie just isn't worth it.

Looking for a cringy film, you found it.
Reading earlier reviews on it being a socially conscientious film was a complete waste of time. This is a movie about a bunch of entitled spoilt little brats who think they're actually doing something positive. It attacks white men, it does not represent feminism or any of the other socially aware groups in their true light. This is a sad representation of young people. If this is what the next generation thinks represents the world then leaving school and going into the world is going to break them. Pathetic movie. It will bomb.
Golden Shoes (2015)
It's just terrible
The actors are well known but act like they are doing it pro bono. Apparently based on a true story?? Yeah, nah!
Itsy Bitsy (2019)
Where's the story??
The movie starts off as having a mystical motive but the character developments trail the story off into nothing. It's basically a movie about a giant spider terrorising a family and the family becoming one. The spider looks fake and the acting while not exactly bad is really misplaced. The concept for a giant spider could work with the right story behind it but this was not it.
