Lost (2004)
Lost is NOT a show
Lost is not a show; Lost is not just the narrative of an island; Lost is the metaphor of our lives, that corner of the globe where everyone of us has to fall once in a lifetime, to comprehend what it means to live.

I just finished watching the entire six seasons of lost. As I am on the verge of graduating from university and writing my thesis, lost has been my source of letting go of stress & anxiety.
Thanks, Sawyer, for your irony, bravery, and overpowering emotions; you proved that the finest individuals frequently hide behind terrible actions.
Thanks, Kate, since you made it clear how love and hatred may transform you, but that you can always act and be what you want.
Thank you, John, because you are a magnificent person, a man of faith who believed in what he did and was willing to make big choices for the good of others.
Thank you, Hurley, for your compassion, your tact, your bravery, your unconditional good towards everyone, your determination to protect those you loved.
Thank you, Jin, and thank you, Sun, for showing that a life without love is not worth living.
Thank you Sayid, for showing that every awful action can be repaired and that we are not what life demands us to be, but we can always be better.
Thank you, Benjamin, for illustrating that suffering bends you but doesn't break you, that it is always beneficial in each of us.
Thank you, Desmond, for illustrating that you have to fight; whatever occurs, never give up. See you in another life, brotha!
Thank you, Jack, for teaching that everything can be mended, nothing is irrevocable, that love matters in life, the people you love matter, that you have to struggle not to lose them, you have to live and cling to life at all times, and that you can only let it go for the sake of the people you love.
Lucifer (2016)
Ode to Dan, Amanadiel and Ella
Just finished watching season 6. Likewise, I too have invested a lot of time into this.
But really, Kevin Alejandro (Dan), Aimee Garcia (Ella) and DB Woodside (Amenadiel) made the show better from every aspect.
I would have loved seeing more of Dan! He was witty, dealt with his 'demons' and whenever he was on the screen, made me smile!
As for Amenadiel, he was amazing! Fun to watch, caring personality and seriously made me enjoy the show even more!
And what would Lucifer be without Ella? I first saw Aimee Garcia on Dexter and boy was she a total badass! Talented, witty, caring, the "hugs" - she legit made me feel happy as well!
And also, Dr. Linda aka Rachael Harris was a great character. Sensible, funny and genuine...
Fun fact: whenever the "Lucifer" intro came, I would always hum to the background music. Haha! I will miss doing it...
My most favorite episode from the entire show was: God Johnson.
Goodbye Lucifer!
Tom Ellis x Lauren German FTW.
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Perfect blend between storytelling, cinematography and characters
I just finished watching the show and here are my thoughts which I would like to share with you.
Have you ever heard the question - "Why should I watch this show?" I am particularly emphasizing "why".
To me, not everything has to be groundbreaking. Simplicity has become underrated it seems to some extent!
For example: take the sunsets or rain. If you theoretically think about sunsets, it's just the sun going down. The rain? It's just water pouring from the sky and all...++
But what's different is your memories. It's the scenario and the feeling you carry. It's that one sunset you carry in your mind and smile or feel vulnerable. Same goes for rain.
That's what simply this show does. It tells a simple (well, not that simple) story with perfection, where vulnerability is a big part.
Firstly, I was starstruck for a couple of minutes when I saw Kate! But she played her role so well! It was like having a glimpse of a person who you have known for a long time or just simply resonate with.
All the characters on this show were awesome. Apart from Kate aka Mare Sheehan, I simply loved Lori. Julianne Nicholson did a wonderful job portraying Lori. She is beautiful the way she is and put her heart to this role. The scene at the car where she cries out about "another character" wrenches your heart.
The cinematography is gritty and the soundtrack is also great. Apart from the mysterious plot, the humor also felt natural.
Wish I could see a bit more about Richard. And from my perspective, I was not particularly a fan of Dylan.
But overall, if you want to see something crafted with passion, this is your show!
Bates Motel (2013)
In loss of words.
Just finished watching the entire series.
I am deeply hurt, disturbed and feel nothing but sorry for Norma. Vera Fermiga as Norma had a jaw dropping performance.
Freddy Highmore was ridiculously great at his part.
As for the story line, I will just say this... No other show made me feel so bitter. Norman, though you are a character, you have shown me a part of emotion which I never thought was so painful.
I am in total loss of words.
Emma Decody, Alex Romero and all the other characters... You were good too.
And lastly, Dylan. I really enjoyed his acting.
I enjoyed season 2 and 5 the most.
Prison Break (2005)
Changed my life
Prison Break changed my life in the best possible way. Season 1 gave me hell of a ride. I love Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and he is so calm, intelligent.
Nothing but love!
Watch the first episode of season 1 and I promise you'll have the time of your life
