Team Spirit 2 (2003)
don't be too harsh
I begin with confessing that I already saw this movie twice by now! And I don't regret it!
Look, of course, this is a feel-good-movie! You could have seen that one coming! If you don't like that kind of films, you shouldn't have gone in the first place! You can't expect every new Belgium movie to be a new Daens or Anyway the wind blows! I, for once, think that Team Spirit 2 is a perfectly enjoyable movie! So did my mother, my best friend and I guess everyone who bought a ticket that night I went! Because everyone laughed during the movie and everyone came out with a smile on their face! And if that is a bad thing, then I don't know what 's wrong with the world!
I do agree on one point! The advertising is horrible! It just gets annoying! I started hating the colour yellow!!! But if the advertising was necessary to make the movie (budget), I might as well accept it! Because anyway: the movie is worth its price!! So go and see it!
Sweet Home Alabama (2002)
Nice and relaxing
I always tell myself that I'm only going to watch movies with real quality, with a message, you know. But sometimes it just feels good to sit back and relax and watch a movie. Sweet Home Alabama is perfect for that.
You don't have to think, just follow and...I liked it. The story is quite typical, but still I didn't have the feeling like I had seen the movie before.
Lucas performed really good and I still can't believe the color of his eyes, soooo blue! Witherspoon was good too, she 's made for this kind of movies.
I have seen the movie twice now and I 'm still positive about it. The second time, I got my brother to watch the movie with me. And guess what...he liked it too...
All Over the Guy (2001)
Good Job
It's like Eli says it in the movie: why do all gay-movies have to be about sex, not about love? I share that opinion and that's why I didn't feel too much for the movie before I saw it. I thought: another 1h30 of gay-sex. But if you're looking for that, this movie ain't your cup of tea. This movie is really about love (and commitment), that was quite refreshing to me. I think Eli and Tom (I don't know their real names) made a great couple, so did Jack and Brett. Maybe it all seemed a little bit too perfect, but don't we all want to see the live from its brightest side.
