We Are Who We Are: Right Here Right Now I (2020)
I loved it!
It was super good! The cinematography was great. The acting was good. The script could have been better but I think that it was just cause it was the first episode and some moments need to be forced. It didn't bother me too much. I can only see the episodes getting better and better! Super excited for the next episode that comes out tonight!
We Are Who We Are (2020)
I actually really loved the first episode!
I'm not even going to add a rating cause THE SHOW HASN'T EVEN ENDED! All of the negative reviews are literally either homophobic, transphobic, or mad about nudity. It's literally a human body get over it and for the review saying it's not realistic cause you've never met a gay commander, my mother's best friend is a gay commander. Even if you've never seen it, does not mean it doesn't happen. Anyways, the first episode (as of me writing this it's the only one out) was actually pretty good. It was a little odd at moments, but the soundtrack was good. The cinematography was AMAZING! The acting was pretty good. The script felt a little off at moments or like forced, but it didn't really bother me too much. Also, it actually made me emotional because of how I have been in a similar position as Fraser. Jack Dylan Grazer is doing a really good job with the role and I feel like the episode will get better and better. It gives me a Euphoria vibe without being anything like Euphoria. I would probably give the first episode a 8/10.
Waves (2019)
Stunning!
This film blew me away. I was bored and wanted to watch something. I saw it had Sterling K. Brown and Alexa Demie. It looked like it was be entertaining. I can't tell you how much I loved this film, I cried, so hard. This movie was amazing! It was very slow-paced, if you don't mind that, it's a must watch.
The Turning (2020)
Do not waste your money!
This movie was 80 minutes of set up to the last ten minutes, that made ABSOLUTELY no sense and gave zero closure whatsoever. It was not scary at all. Nothing was unique. It was so unoriginal and so boring. This movie was absolutely horrible. I left the theater so confused. The only time I enjoyed this movie was when I was laughing at how stupid it was. The script was terrible and felt so forced. Brooklynn Prince was absolutely amazing in The Florida Project, she isn't bad at acting. Finn was great in It(the movie) and is great in Stranger Things. When it comes down to it, they couldn't do anything with that script. This movie did both of them so dirty. Don't waste your time watching this movie. It is 94 minutes of your life you will never get back.
Sex Education: Episode 8 (2020)
Didn't like what happened, but still a good finale to a great season.
I absolutely loved this season. This show is just amazing with such well written characters. This finale isn't the end. It was an episode to push everything forward. The story isn't over. Last season didn't end with a closure either. Life doesn't always have closure. This show is realistic and it's not just trying to appeal to everyone and make everyone happy. The writers and creators just want to tell a good story. They are succeeding at that.
