Kilometers, no! Miles, no! Lightyears in front of the disaster of the first one. This is hands down THE BEST ninja turtle movie yet. If you like ninja turtles, this is for you. Watching the turtles just get to hang out and especially have conflict between one another is what turtles fans live for. It's a serious shame people didn't go see this one just because of how poor the first one was because we might have a really great franshise by now with an extensive ninja turtles world.

Beautiful Boy (I) (2018)

I watch a LOT of movies and it's only once in a blue moon where I find one that completely blows me away. This is one of the best movies I've EVER seen, seriously. Strikes every emotion you have and feels very real, in part due to the performances. If I have any complaints it's that it could be like ten minutes shorter and the music kinda throws me off. That's it, for real. A new film that I'm GLAD to put on my top 10 of all time list.

All the negeative reviews are people hating because that's what they like to do. I swear to you, if you can shut off your brain for an two hours and just be open to something making you laugh, you'll enjoy it. It's a mindless comedy, but better than most other mindless comedies. 9/10 for what it is.

The Cabin in the Woods (2011)

Lemme just say, it's nothing like what you think it's gonna be. If it was actually about kids in a cabin in the woods experiencing some scares it probably would've been scarier and maybe even better, but it would be far less memorable. Instead it takes every risk possible and it's awesome. I honestly don't think this movie is all that great technically but you CAN NOT have a bad time watching it. It's impossible.

The Next Karate Kid (1994)

Okay this movie doesn't touch the original three and it's not a masterpiece but it's tolerable and there is enjoyment to be found. I'm the biggest fan there is of the original 3, but this movie isn't quite as bad as they say.

This movie is terrible. Obviously the ending is the worst part but that doesn't mean the rest is any good. People saying how "real" this movie is but they have no idea what they're talking about. I'm being generous with a 4/10, go watch something else.

What should a comedy do? It should make you laugh. It delivered on this level for me. If you don't laugh solely because you're offended by the stereotypes and "offensive" jokes, pick a different genre. Being a gay man myself, I laughed like hell the whole time, so if it didn't offend me, it shouldn't be offensive to anybody else.

Stargirl (2020)

This movie could be better in some areas but I thought it was perfectly enjoyable. One area it could do better in though, is the musical sequences. I don't know what was going on or why they would make eye contact with the camera but they need to cut that out, it's uncomfortable to watch. Other than that, it drags every now and then but the story is fine, the characters are fine, and stargirl really steals the show. I'd say a solid 6.7/10.

Hereditary (2018)

I'm not scarred for life like most people say, but yeah, it's pretty good.

Intentionally slow paced to set creepy and suspenseful mood. I was never actually scared in this film and the only sleep I'll lose was the first night trying to understand it, which I successfully did and it has a very interesting story. I definitely need to revisit it and so should everyone just to pick up things I may have missed, however I'm not lookin go forward to sitting through that slow burn pacing a second time now that I know where it goes. Good movie, not as great as you hear about.

American Housewife (2016–2021)

Very mediocre and stereotypical

Positives: not many, so here are a couple. There are parts that make me laugh, like about 1/3 of the jokes. The youngest kid is the best character in the series and she speaks the show in every scene, especially for being a kid actor. The husband isn't also a highlight.

Negatives: Okay so the whole freaking show is just a stereotypical mom who narrates and complains about everything in sight. That gets annoying super fast. The show tries to showcase how hard moms work and how the kids are worth the work in the end but it just beats this over the head non stop and the messages are consistently shot down as the take the unfunny joke EVERY SINGLE TIME. The character of Katie is honestly a terrible person and so annoying when she complains about everything. I have no idea how any of the characters put up with her. The actress is not terrible as her though just to be clear. Her two best friends are 100000% times worse. This show mainly just annoys me. It's made for mothers and women over 140 pounds. Others don't have to watch it.

Pet Sematary (2019)

Rushed in production, barely anything good.

It's a product not a movie. Everything is bad. It was rushed in production, the acting sucks and it's borrrrring. If this wasn't my first watch I wouldn't be able to make it all the way through. There's an old man in the movie played by that one guy who's pretty good. That's the only thing. This movie was made so that the company could keep the rights to the material, not because they wanted to make a movie.

Justice League (2017)

Okay, it's not THAT bad. I can understand high expectations from a freaking justice league movie. But I went in late and I'd heard all the bad reviews and I went in with expectations based on previous entries in the DCEU. I found pros and cons:

PROS- -Superman is awesome for the time he's there. -Barry Allen -pretty cool to see them all share the screen.

CONS- -Cyborg is very underdeveloped -Steppinwolfe kinda sucks (I don't care enough to look up his name so it may be spelled wrong.) -I didn't understand the stakes. Like I saw no reason for them to come together other than to make a movie.

Mr. Deeds (2002)

Just watched this movie last night and the final verdict is: I loved it. Idk what all these other people be talking about. The character of Deeds is so incredibly likable and admirable and the film genuinely had me laughing in some points. Don't listen to the others hating on this film. Everyone should go watch it and decide for themselves because in my opinion, he film is genuinely super fun.

COMEDY: The comedy in this film is fair. It could be better for a movie labeled "comedy" however it's not enough to ruin the movie. Beside this, there are three or four moments that had me cracking up.

PLOT/SUBSTANCE: This movie's plot is fairly easy to understand and it works well for the movie. The plot is not bad nor great, it's just enough to push the film along and I think it fits great. When writing this category, I ask myself what would you have left if you took out all the comedic moments and characters and yes, I think the plot would hold up. It may not be very interesting, but luckily we have comedy and characters in the final product.

CHARACTERS: Now, this is the real saving grace of this film. For the most part, Deeds himself. He is one of the most lovable characters I've seen on screen in a long time. He is just a genuinely good guy and tbh I wish I could be more like him and I wish there were more people in the world like him. All the other characters really just make him better. It's seeing how they interact with a character as well done and as purely good as deeds on it's own, that really makes this movie worth watching. And Adam Sandler's performance just drives it home. Perfect casting right there. Y'all are some idiots if you don't like this bro like wth?

THEMES: Man, the movie's got heart. I don't know what else to say. The movie has heart all the way through, usually brought to the screen by Deeds, but throughout the movie and his acts, he makes the characters around him better and this is honestly phenomenally fun to watch and it really makes you feel better as a person and look at what is around you and just be grateful.

SEE THIS DAMN MOVIE! I BET YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)

The final verdict is... enjoyable, not perfect. If you're looking for a pretty good time at the movies and a few genuine laughs that you will forget by the time you get home, I'd say this is for you. Relies heavily on comedy but lacks major substance.

COMEDY: The movie brings to the table some actual good comedy but it feels like it almost gets to the point where there are too many jokes. The film relies heavily on its comedy. If you take away all the comedic moments, and focus on the plot and character development, you really aren't left with much.

ACTION/ADVENTURE: The action in this film is honestly pretty strong. There are moments you'll like if you enjoy wildlife action, though, some of the scenes seem to overstay their welcome. They last a bit too long in some areas.

SUBSTANCE/PLOT The plot of this movie is pretty easy to grasp, but lacks in some areas or is overshadowed for the sake of an unfunny (or in cases funny but not when it overshadows what could be a great plot point) joke.

THEMES: There are moments in the film where themes could be very strong. For example, there is a scene where hot guy and hot girl (idk the names but y'all get it) are having a heart to heart convo and it's honestly really human and moving but it is one of the few scenes in this movie I wish were longer. If you cut out a couple of jokes or cut short an action sequence to make another scene or two like this, I think the film would've benefited strongly.

PACING: Pacing is good in the film and never really drags or rushes itself in the case of all but a few action scenes.

Cats (2019)

One of the most genius movies I've seen in a while.

This movie is just so good in almost every aspect. You can just tell that everyone involved put their entire heart into it and the result was well worth it. Everyone on the team that had even the smallest thing to do with this masterpiece should be so proud and feel so accomplished. Not to mention how adorable the cats are with the crazy good CGI. A masterpiece if I ever saw one.

Kung Fu Panda (2008)

The first movie I ever saw in theaters.

This was my very first movie back in 2008 when little five year old me thought pandas were the coolest thing in the world. I was too young to see through that to find a genius story, truly intriguing characters, honestly timeless comedy and the sendoff of one of the greatest trilogies of all time, not just for children but for everyone, all of which this movie has to affect. this sparked my love of movies. Now I go to the movies twice a week and I love it so much. Please watch this, you won't regret it.

Little Women (2019)

Not bad by any means but definitely not for me.

So I saw this with my girlfriend and I was expecting to totally hate it and unfortunately I wasn't super surprised, but I am able to accept that I, a 15 year old boy, wasn't exactly the target audience.

It got better in the third act for me, once I completely understood what was going on, and once I did, I can tell you that the movie is very smart and could be a real eye opener for many if it was more engaging to those people. I also very much applaud how they handled the time jumping with different lighting. I might shave a bit off the time but other than that, if you're interested by the trailer, you'll enjoy it but if not, you probably won't love it.
