I grew up with men like this in the 70's...men who served, men of few words and intense stoicism. This emotional character study of one such man really spoke to me. Darkly funny at times, intensely emotional in others, I enjoyed this film a lot. Beautifully shot in Massachusetts, Sam Elliot is a master of his craft against an incredible backdrop. I would consider this a must see for anyone looking for a great story with heart, some humor, and an unbelievable plot.

Other reviewers have commented about the pacing of the film, the editing, and the writing. I didn't find those faults and thoroughly enjoyed the journey of this story.

Season 4 was another great installment in this series. I always look to Erica Sinclair for the best lines in the series and this season did not disappoint. Complex, deep, and always entertaining, this series is a true work of art.

Joe is a quiet, sweet, awkward man. These gentle, well produced episodes provide small glimpses into his life. Whether philosophizing about a 2001 Buick Park Avenue or realizing the newspaper heavily trimmed an obituary he wrote, each moment we are lucky enough to share with Joe provides.entertainment, introspect, and a deeper understanding about life at a slower pace. This show is 10 out of 10 in my book. When Joe's pumpkin went over the waterfall, I cried a little. A+

This show is a masterpiece of comedy genius! If you grew up watching Soul Train, this show is for you! Excellent writing and acting. I love it!

Jessica McGovern makes amazing baked goods without pretension. Her homestyle flair is enjoyable and entertaining. What is fascinating is that her hair and make up are always on point. Exceptional. Beautiful food from a beautifully coiffed woman. Truly a great show IMO. A+

The Grinch (2018)

Loved it. Beautiful animation, even on the small screen.

I saw this back in 2018 in the theater, in 3D. It was breathtaking. Watching it now at home, still looks good. The story follows the classic with some funny changes. I felt bad for The Grinch, given his social anxiety and PTSD. Flashbacks to his childhood explain why he acts the way he does. I can relate. In the end, we are all damaged, yet redeemable. A+
