Interesting flick, but way too long.

If you like rock solid acting and don't mind slow moving plots, then, this one's for you. The cast is TOP NOTCH, with fine acting and writing (interesting characters and storyline), and fine visuals. The problem is, THE OPENING. The last thing you wanna do is bore an audience for the first twenty minutes. THE FLORENTINE does this BRILLIANTLY. With a little editing, a little TLC, this movie could be first class.

A father struggles to repair a damaged relationship with his son.

While the film's heart is in the right place, the producers should have spent more time in the editing room. If you're a Jersey shore fan, you might wanna see this flick about damaged relationships, broken dreams, and a serial killer terrorizing a small beach community. For Michael Disend (Clown in Babylon, A (1999)) fans, this is his first film, and a must!
