Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

By far, the worst Spider-man movie

Plot is a bit rubbish and popularity of former movies have been used to get some pulse. Imagination is OK, but should have been supported by coherence. It was not satisfying for me except for the visual effects.

I watched the movie relying on a friend's advise. Well, now I need to reconsider my friendship :D This is definitely the most terrible advise I have ever received. I voted an extra star just for the efforts of the actors. To shoot such an awful movie deserves an extra star.

Downfall

Cem Yilmaz is a good figure of comedy in Turkish community and I respected his works in terms of stand up and movies in past. But I think he lost his freshness in the late years. Unlike his last movies, I was not bothered by forced advertisements this time. However, I did still not enjoy the movie as its previous series. Maybe it is because of the high expectations created by the first movie of the serie. Movie includes a resent for some recent events and sends some political messages as well. And we can sense that rather than being a follow up movie, we should assess this movie seperately from others. However, since the plot depends upon previous movies, it is not very possible. I still not figured out the logic of a few things in the movie as well which lead me to think it is a fast production movie. Anyway, I think this movie explains the low volume of ticket sales for his last movies. I still would like to watch it as some actors approved the work done by the words "it is something new and important as an art". We'll see. But I could not rate good for this movie.

Good plot / poor acting

The movie gives a brief information about the war at Canakkale and points fingers to unknown heroes of the war and their tragedy. Though having a plot upon war, the movie supports humanitarian thoughts and peace. The movie was good overall, but needed better acting especially from the Turkish actors. Some used words were much more recent than the years plot took place which caused an artificial athmosphere to the movie. I recommend this movie to be watched, but not with great expectations.

Alpha (II) (2018)

Scenes out of reality.

The plot is good overall. I enjoyed the movie but there were some scenes which seemed to be shot with a bit of rush and no sense of reality. For instance, Kenda falls from edge of a cliff and to when trying to find his way down, he instantly slips and stays holding some reality with finger tips. Just then suddenly a heavy rain starts and causes a big flood which is impossible in a short while. And it is impassive for him to hold the rock for a long time either. Therefore., the scene lacks reality for me and makes the whole plot unrealistic.
