Power of the Air (2018)
A great film about living in the world but not of the world
For those skeptical of the messaging in the theology of this movie, go ahead and read 1 Corinthians 9:19. We meet people where they are at with the word of God. We use the tools of the enemy to destroy the enemy. Let us not forget this. This movie is great even though it's a low budget film. The messaging is great. Praise God. Hallelujah and amen. I wasn't expecting much when I chose this movie, and saw some of the reviews but I highly recommended as a believer in the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ to change all things for good . If you like, wholesome Christian family films with good values, and a strong storyline, watch this one!
Divine Influencer (2023)
Touching, lighthearted and uplifting
A very pointed and relevant look at social media, culture and self-centeredness in society. A shallow and vapid young influencer goes from self glorification to community saint through Jesus. Great movie for the whole family, especially young adults. It just goes to show the power of Christ in doing good works for others and being selfless. For those who know the power of Jesus, this movie is well acted, well directed and has elements of romance, humor, and drama. I saw it on Pureflix. Definitely worth the watch. Lead actress played Peter's wife Eden in the Angel Studios series "The Chosen". If you're watching this, please give it a review and keep it going! God bless you.
The Rise of Jordan Peterson (2019)
Great documentary about a polarizing man
In an ever divided world, that seems to be getting more and more polarized, Jordan Petersons rise to main stream popularity seems like an information age phenomenon. Peterson, and intellect, who made his name, known for his stance against mandatory pronoun use on the Toronto campus, proves to be quite a multi faceted human being. This documentary serves well to show the nuanced and emotional clinical psychologist and university professor as the enigma he is, discerning between his personal life (which isn't so personal when a camera is rolling), and his 21st-century public persona. We get to meet the figureheads who know him best, including his wife and kids, as well as people he grew up with, some of which turned away from him after his provocative insights, and sometimes contradictory takes. Peterson's quest for truth leaves a lot of his life confused in a never ending search for meaning on so many levels. The cinematography and editing in this documentary is excellent. It shows the multi dimensional Peterson, now a Canadian icon, and a powerful and vulnerable light. If you've never heard of him before, or if you have; if you love him, or hate him, this is definitely a documentary for you to shed light on how complex we all are in our own right.
Before the Wrath (2020)
Great documentary
I love the fact that Jack Hibbs was in this movie. Great documentary about the return of Jesus Christ. Matthew and Revelation reveals this in the good book. This film answers a lot of questions surrounding the end of days to come, and why Jesus use certain languages and parables to foresee his return to earth after his crucifixion and resurrection. Highly recommend it to anyone who is a Christian and even if you are not a Christian, this documentary explains a lot about the New Testament, and even the old testament. Great editing, and cinematography. The narration was excellent as well. Don't mess up on checking this one out if you love Jesus or interested in learning more about Him.
