"Boss Level" - Former special forces, Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) is in a constant time loop that repeats the day he gets murdered over and over again until he can find the cause behind it all.
Boss Level is another one of those time loop movies which I really like. But when I went into it, I was really confused as to how they got Mel Gibson and Naomi Watts to play in this. Kudos to the director I guess... Anyways, I think Frank Grillo did fittingly as the former special forces agent who tries to be a better man throughout the movie and Mel Gibson was good as the villain. Naomi Watts played good as the wife to Frank Grillo's character. Albeit Boss Level being no Groundhog Day or Happy Death Day etc, I actually really enjoyed myself with this movie. There's just something about a person going through the same day over and over again with a purpose that just hits the right part of my brain. Love these concepts. Plus there were some pretty fun scenes too. Good mix of comedy and action.
