Still Waiting to Laugh

It's been years since I've walked out on a movie. Well this gem broke that run. It's just not funny. At all. If you're going to spend millions on a film at least spend part of that budget on writers. By far the worst movie I have seen this year. Save your $s and save your time. About 45 minutes into the movie I was thinking "I think I should leave if it doesn't get better". Then I started thinking "I know there's something better on TV - why waste my time watching this turd of a movie."

Dawson City: Frozen Time (2016)

Wonderful Combination of Gold Rush and Cinema History

This is a must see documentary. It is a fascinating story of both the gold rush and the silent film era. As a film buff I was impressed by the story telling that included photos, film footage of that era and the film that was recovered in Dawson City. The music score blended perfectly with the story telling. This film has "Best Documentary" Oscar written all over it.

Awakening the Zodiac (2017)

Rooting for the Zodiac Killer

I went out of my way to go to a late night showing of this film. I've been fascinated with the mystery behind the Zodiac killer. There were inaccuracies on some of the facts about the real Zodiac killer, but I wasn't really expecting it to be 100% true to facts anyway. I knew it was fictionalized story and though it would be interesting.

Now my review: Great combination of poor writing and acting. Save your money on this one folks. The film was so bad that half way through the movie I was rooting for the Zodiac to kill off the idiot lead actor and actress. Very disappointing.
