Salt (2010)
An Inspired by the movie passage
Salt
An hour in an agent's life
No matter how much you are doing
Or how much you are sacrificing
For any entity
You are just a TOOL
As soon as your work is over for them your life will be too
But they trained you for maybe decades now!
And maybe they have been taking care of you since the moment you were born!
Yeah all of that to serve the purpose of your assignment
If you are surprised you are like the sheep who thinks the farmer is his friend because he feeds him every day
It is all to serve the purpose
When they are done your best hopes will be being left behind for the enemy to find you
Because unlike your entity the enemy values you alive now so they could know anything about the operation
On the other hand, your entity values nothing more than killing you after the operation because you don't have much to offer as an agent (they have plenty as good as you could be) while they have much to lose if you decide to talk for whatever reason either Your conscience wake up or you saw a potential opportunity to gain money or power
Their goal is not to let you vanish or disappear no it is killing and precisely doing just that
So as a Prostitute to a married man, They will get rid of any trace of sleeping with you the moment they wake up from bed the next day
And the first trace is your life
Trust no one because your greatest ally today will put you on his entity's most-wanted list tomorrow.
The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
Small lies here and there forced the talented Tom to write the second half of his life in a completely different way from the first
Princeton University only
He wanted to brag about being a student at Princeton University
Even the university-branded jacket was a loan
Suddenly, this jacket changed the world of the talented Tom and made it centered around lying, starting with him pretending to be a friend of Dickie's in college, then learning to play jazz so that there would be common topics that they could talk about.
The circle grew a little when he added Margie to his friends' list
So he started demonstrating in front of her as well
For the first time, this simple boy has friends who love him for his (fake) self and share his (fake) interests, but it doesn't matter, love is a wonderful feeling, and having friends is beautiful, so he does not care about the sacrifices he made after he lived this lively life of love and friendship.
After his fake mission of trying to convince Dicky to return to his father continued for months, the father surrendered and told him that the mission was finished, and this meant cutting off the budget that would allow him to keep up with his rich friends in their lives.
This was the first obstacle
It became a financial burden, as he was unable to cover the costs of living in Italy without having a source of income
But The spark of the beginnings of relationships didn't make that a problem for Dickie and Margie
This did not disturb the dream that Tom was living
Loving friends, a comfortable life, and a fun time in the Italian countryside
But as life is, the fun often does not last for anyone
An old friend of dickie, Freddy, came to Dickie
And he was sullen, boring, rude, and grievous
These are qualities that a person acquires if he is raised in extreme wealth without discipline
Dickie and Margie showed less interest in Tom, who shares the same opinion and hobbies, and they cared more and more about Freddy who was different.
So the misfortunes began with the first drop on Tom's head
His first problem is how to adapt to the lack of attention after he was the focus of conversation and a pleasant guest
Freddie started throwing words and directing the spotlight towards Tom's situation, which was a financial burden on Dickie
From here, drops of misfortune began to follow one after another, and the dream began to become a nightmare
When Dickie starts to be convinced of Freddie's words, his relationship with Tom became cold, and as time passed, it became colder.
Circumstances were different, feelings were different, and Tom was emotionally disturbed. What could he do so that the dream he was living in continues?
His friendship turned into love, ecstasy, and eagerness, and perhaps it was an attempt on his part to keep Dickie
But he was shocked when he hinted at that
Dickie told him that he wanted him to go and that he had enough of him
Here the flowing of the misfortunes became like a thunderstorm accompanied by heavy rain
It was too much to handle for tom
He couldn't bear to hear what he heard, and then he killed his sweetest dreams, which turned into his scariest nightmares
Then he tries to get out of the remains of this life, but the more he plans and tries to get out, the more this nightmare grows and drags him inside
Freddie sensed that Tom was lying about Dickie's whereabouts
Perhaps it was because he hated Tom so much (he wished it not sensed it) that Tom would be the murderer of Dickie, so he began searching more for evidence.
When he was close to discovering it, Tom got rid of him as well.
Ironically, he killed the cause of the nightmare, but the nightmare became bigger and more frightening.
He started quick plans to get rid of the evidence and clear his name
Margie became suspicious as she finds Tom in every way she searched for Dickie
When the news of his suicide spread, she did not believe it at all, but began to connect the dots and deduce the crime committed by Tom, and Tom became her first suspect.
She created an excuse to search his apartment until she found the two rings, which were the straw that broke the camel's back and made her certain that Tom was the killer.
Peter's entry saved her from being killed when she confronted him (because Tom does not like anyone to confront him).
Fortunately for Tom, the mean detective was changed
, also fortunate for him that dickie's father and the private investigator were convinced that dickie committed suicide after killing Freddy because he had a history of causing trouble back home in the US.
Tom said goodbye to the investigator, the father, and Margie, who was still certain that he was
the one who did it
He thought that he had finished with this nightmare and that it was time to close the dark basement full of dark memories forever, but he made a mistake in that he did not completely emerge from this nightmare.
Rather, he stayed in Italy and also returned to Peter and tried to start his new life with part of the previous dream
But the nightmare refused to end and he met a witness to his previous plan(Meredith)
Just when he was convinced that he had locked the basement forever, he opened it again for Peter to enter as one of the victims of the unfulfilled dream of this talented boy, Mr. Reilly.
Wow I had every emotion I could have watching it
Matt Damon as usual in every drama movie is spectacular
Great performance from everyone else too
If there is more than 10/10 I'll give it to this movie.
Oppenheimer (2023)
"I become death, the destroyer of all worlds"
"Now I become death, the destroyer of worlds"
Oppenheimer the man who killed 220 thousands in two Bombs after he worked on it less than five years, he spent nearly two billion dollars on it, made it to fight one enemy that killed his own people but used it to kill another one.
Even if it was on his enemy it'd reach innocent people because it is very widely ranged.
Japan was losing the war already so why kill a quarter of a million and damage many others?
Is it worth to win a war by ending the lives of two cities' citizens?
And were the Bombs actually needed to win or were Japan already losing?
What did America achieve from the Bombs if it wasn't to win the war?
America achieved the Reputation of the most powerful country in the world and the control of it
So who created the bomb is responsible at least Partially for the quarter million deaths
And whoever leaked the secret behind the nuclear bomb to the soviet union is the one to thank for not using it again and balancing the world
.
Ironically Oppenheimer was about to be in both parties
But if it wasn't for him would we ever discover the
bomb?
We will never no
All of that and more emotions came out of the movie through the performance of Cillian Murphy and Christopher Nolan directing.
Great movie
In cinema even better
I rated it 8, 8/10.
Shadowlands (1993)
A love story that brings me happiness to know its based on real life
I love this kind of movies that have a real message and not to watch it's an unforgettable experience to see all of these feelings and to know it is real and there are people who have lived it, losing a loved person it is hard to just think about it, I wish I don't loose any one of them all of my life. True love does exist it's not just in movies and if we are lucky enough we will live it someday just as in the movie. If you since it don't allow it to go believe me its worth figting for.
I cryed a little is so touching the story and the performance especially Anthony he is one of a kind at this kind of films
I was happy to see the morals they showed to us from believing in God and praying cause there is no point in life if it ends when you die so everyone should search it over to find the true religion and you will see how relief he is even if he had a hard time because he would know that God will reward him for being patient, I am not a Christian I am Muslim but it's good to see someone who wants to find the truth and of course keeping a good attitude it's good to add them an movies because it's really effect us as a late teenager I am speaking.
I hope everyone gets their love story and be happy with it.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011)
A 2021 opinion of someone who has not read the novel and watched the series at two different decades of his age
In the beginning, I want to thank the author j.k. Rowling, even tho I didn't read her books but I saw it in this magnificent series of films
I didn't read it because English is not my mother language at that time and I didn't think the translated version will be as great as the original.
But now after what I have seen in the series twice, I am considering reading it After I improved my English over the years.
About the series, I saw it when I was younger nearly 10 and it was great but now when I saw it a second time while am 19 I understand it and appreciate it more it becomes greater, I wished I saw it in theater Yet None of its value has been lost by watching it on the tv.
At third. As for the characters, there were great performances from all of them, but I loved the most harry and Hermione and comes second snape, Sirius, Hagrid, 2001's dumbledore, luna, Wesley.
It's by far The largest number of great characters I've seen in one movie series.
In the end. About this last part of the series, it created a perfect ending Any fan would seek for, I won't spoil by talking about details but I've experienced every emotion I have on it.
It was really a masterpiece by all what it means.
The Remains of the Day (1993)
A masterpiece as usual as most every other Anthony Hopkins movies
It's made me feel it deeply, how he couldn't open up his feelings to her and when she said I am getting married hoping for any reaction from him and he didn't do anything
The most touching scene when at the last of the movie they realized they couldn't get together ever again and how did they say goodbye to each other💔.
*Life is short don't wait for it's too late*
+For anyone who liked this movie, I think you would like 84 Charing Cross Road for the same actor, Anthony Hopkins.
Primal Fear (1996)
Best twist ever!
What a masterpiece of a story and performance
At the twist my mind about to explode
Edward Norton? I think if the is like voting for the best performance of characters defiantly he wold be on of ten with this movie
I was thinking of rating the movie 9/10 but after the twist i wished there is 11/10
The thing that i think its mind blowing i heard that this is the first movie for Edwards! Just wow.
There Will Be Blood (2007)
A masterpiece
Great performance from the beginning of the movie to the last moment
Great embodiment of the characters
Of course, Daniel Day-Lewis is the greatest character, and without him, the film would not have achieved this huge success
One of the very few movies I rate a ten.
How Do You Know (2010)
Poor not even worth the time of watching it
The movie is so boring
The script is poor and boring, as if it were happening in the mind of a teenage feminist
Two men try to make a girl happy with everything they have and cry for her and when she is there they are so silly of surprise and admiration
Well, wake up, writer, and see how miserable you have written
Angry only for Great Jack because he made this movie one of the finale of his career.
