Why All the Hate?
13 July 2021
Simply put, I love this film. It's a slow burner with simple characters leading complex lives in an unknown wilderness. So many other reviewers seem to love acting like they are big time lame critics (big babies really) and over analyze the film as if it's supposed to meet some kind of specific criteria. It's a freaking movie! It doesn't have to meet any kind of predetermined criteria. It is filmed and created how it was intended. If you choose to hate on it so be it, it's your loss. However, I on the other hand, enjoyed it so freaking much. It's shot on actual film I believe and the colors are absolutely brilliant. The story is plenty intriguing and if you let the film be and not critique it so much, then you will also enjoy it!

Don't be a scrooge. Watch movies and tv shows with a completely open and blank mind. There's no specific way a film is supposed to be. It's called creativity. Enjoy it for what it is and don't hate on it for what it isn't.

WOW JUST WOW!!!
25 February 2021
This is the kind of movie the world needs. One that is simple and yet crazy at the same time. Like who even sits down and thinks. "Hmmm, how about a movie/book about a young white American boy who thinks he is Mongolian"? This is originality at it's finest! This may be one of the most underrated films in the past decade and I so wish for it to be seen by more people. This movie will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you cringe, and make you smile; and feel all of these different emotions at the same time! I can not by any means, do this film enough justice in describing it. All I can do is encourage everyone that I can to watch this film. It will make your day, trust me!

Great Cinematography But That's About It
20 October 2020
Maybe I shouldn't judge this series only 3 episodes in but so far I am not impressed. For one it's ridiculously boring as well as being totally nonsensical. On top of that it is anything but "all true" as it claims at the beginning. It's full of political rhetoric and sjw fluffiness. It also has nonstop historical inaccuracies. Now I generally don't care too much when a historical based tv show or movie is full of fallacies but when you say "This is all True", that is a bold statement. Vikings is incredibly inaccurate but never do you even see them claim that it is a true story. Other historical shows and movies also generally say, "based off true events". Never are any of them bold enough to say "This is all true".

Besides all of the inaccuracies and political liberal hollywood nonsense that often feels shoved down your throat, that's isn't even the downfall of this series. The main issue I had with this show is that it is just plain boring. I myself usually enjoy slower shows or movies but that is usually when characters or the humility of the show are able to shine. The writers' downfall was the disconnect they created from the viewer to the story and from the story to the character. What generally makes a great show or movie great is when the viewer forgets that they are just watching a show or movie. This show just never got me feeling engaged or caring about any of the characters whether it's true or not any story should always feel like a story; not a mishmash of elements that just don't feel like they belong together.

Again the cinematography is excellent, but that is the only reason I give it even 2/10. I really had high hopes for this series as John Brown is one of my most favorite US historical figures to read about. I just don't feel like this show did the truth and story of John Brown justice.

Why are there so many negative reviews? Don't listen to Them!
22 December 2019
As the credits began to roll, the theater audience bursted into a standing ovation for the conclusion to this trilogy. I was one of them. I never thought so many people disliked this movie with the initial response it seemed to get from an actual audience. That's why everyone needs to disregard any review less than 6/10. At the end of the day most, if you go into the the movie with an open and unaltered mind, then you will enjoy the movie.

Was the film perfect? No, not at all, but what would the fun be if ever movie on the planet was perfect in the eyes of everyone? We are only human. Yet the movie still is getting so much hate from people who go in with their own idea of a plot and story in mind rather than enjoy the world of the movie unfold around them.

10/10-Production/Cinematography: Personally I thought the production of the movie was the highlight. There were so many scene that literally took my breath away, the cgi was on a god tier level. I had so many chills!

10/10 - Score: The music was also brilliant! It was a well done rendition of the old score and incorporated flawlessly!

7/10 - The story is the only thing that can have some critiquing. In my opinion, the plot seemed a little rushed at times. In fact the pacing was all over the place. But overall it was still pretty solid. Maybe a few random plot holes here and there, but again, just go into it without any expectations! The story is definitely there, even thought so many people seem to disagree. There were many parts in the plot that gave me chills and so many moments of nostalgia, that make it perfect for any die-hard star wars fan!

Again, please do not listen to any of the negative reviews, as they are ridiculous and absolute nonsense. Go into the movie with a fresh and relaxed mind and you will be taken on an amazing adventure!

Please Ignore the bad reviews!
31 May 2019
The people giving this show bad reviews are the type of people who complain about the weather, like really complain. My point its that they complain about something that they can't control or understand and think that complaining will have some control over that fact, for their own peace of mind. If you are someone who takes something as it is and as it's supposed to be then you will love this show! It is not the type of show that will win Emmys or the type of show to go down as one of the "greats" by any means. This show was made for one purpose..."drumroll please"...to put a smile on your face. Yes I know! It's that simple!

All I am saying is that you just need to put some popcorn in the microwave, sit down on the couch, turn on this show and have a good time! It's magical, quirky, funny, mysterious, and just a roller coaster ride of a story!

Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)

Absolutely Blissful and Fulfilling
20 May 2019
It is absolutely ridiculous just how much hate and negativity this show has been getting the past few episodes, this one in particular. I mean, what did you guys expect to happen. Just because it didn't go how you wanted it to? That's the point to writing a good ending. It is one you don't expect. Tyrion said it best. "We are all connected by stories". But every story must end and will end how it chooses to end, not you. Thank you Game of Thrones for not listening to the criticism of dimwitted crybabies and adapting a story that has been dear to all of us. I hope these haters will come to realize the blissfulness and sense of completion that this episode brings and just enjoy it for what it is. Thanks for this grand conclusion GoT. Now who the hell is cutting those damn onions....!!!!!
