Three Up Two Down (1985)
Daphne's snobbish put downs
I'm revisiting this series and what a delightful series it is. Michael Alphick as Sam, a underrated actor in my opinion. He's fantastic as the roguish Sam. Daphne is an awful snob - wonderfully played by Angela Thorne. The character Daphne's treatment of Sam is awful. I have to commend the writers on their excellent writing of her lines as her snobbery and put downs are shocking. Watching it the second time around I find her fascinating. I love how Sam just takes it because he fancies her rotten and knows deep down she is a good sort. Watch the series to see how it ends. 😉
Forever (2018)
Thought Provoking
I started watching this because it was Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph. I had no preconceptions about what it was about when I started watching. However, I was compelled to carry on watching by the ending on episode 2, it takes an interesting direction.
A beautiful, thought provoking series. You just don't know where it's going. However, I was proud to work out exactly how it would end. A must watch.
The Orville (2017)
Brilliant New SciFi series 👍👍👍👍👍
We're so lucky that the series is being televised in the UK. Currently just the US, UK and Finland.
Brilliantly written, three dimensional rounded characters, great special effects - what's not to like?
Every episode is different, it doesn't necessarily matter if you miss an episode, because they work independently.
Seth Macfarlane shows his true genius by writing, directing and appearing in it.
Mr. Macfarlane is a true Trekkie 🙂. It feels like the original Star Trek is back on our screens. Thank You
