Here's why it got bad reviews. It simply ended badly, in that there is no end to it. You don't get to find out what happens to multiple characters. It felt like they didn't know how to end it so they just ended it. The movie was actually quite cool, but you get to the ending and you think. Was that it!? Surely it can't end like that. Plain and simple it's just a cop out ending. It's a bloody shame. If they were going to make a sequel and have a teaser at the end to indicate this then fine. But there wasn't and isn't going to be another one. It had the potential to be great but fell dead on its ass right at the end. Such a shame. I was enjoying it right until it ended without conclusion.

I saw this pop up on Netflix multiple times but kept thinking nah I cant watch it as I totally judged it by the title of the movie. But I watched the trailer for it and thought I'd give it a crack. So glad I did! Story line is brilliant. Special effects are amazing. The fight screens are brutally awesome. Actors are perfectly chosen for their roles. Alba Baptista (Ava) is just stunning and couldn't play the role better if she tried. Toya Turner (Shotgun Mary) is bad ass and is a much needed character for the series. Keep her on.
All in all this show needs more publicity. Perhaps if it was called "Halo" or something more subtle than what it is it might rouse more interest perhaps. I really do think the name of the show is why no one watched it. I even got teased when I said what I was watching as everyone totally judges by the name. It sounds corny. I heard Netflix canned season 3. I'm praying someone else pays up for season 3 instead. I want more. Love this show.

Too many people are rating this movie as an adult. And thus the rating is lower than it should be. My kids love it and really want it back on Netflix. I've watched it and whilst it's a low budget for what it is it's pretty damn good. 10 out of 10 from my 7 and 9 year old boys.

Divergent was a great story line. Brewing something great like the TV series Lost.
Insurgent, started to go on a little bit but made me feel there might be a good point to this all.
Then Allegiant has left me feeling much like I did at the end of season six in LOST. Angry and disappointed with the amount of time I'd spent and invested in a series that was ultimately pointless with no conclusion. I'm still left wondering what the hell actually happened.

This show is brilliant! It's 3 plus movies all mixed into one brilliant TV series. It's The Trueman Show, Total Recall & The Matrix all mixed into one! Plus a bit of the movie Memento perhaps. Each episode gets better and better and you you learn more and more about where the heck they are. It's not annoying like Lost was eg 3 steps forward and 2 steps back! Truly brilliantly written show with surprisingly great actors! New Zealand has come a long way. I really hope this show has a season 2 and more story line permitting! Can't wait to find out who is good and who is bad Wont say any more as I don't want to spoil it. Watch this show it is brilliant! P.S. Writing 10 lines is kinda hard when all you want to write is one word. BRILLIANT!

This show should never have been canceled! It had the perfect mix of British and American comedy combined! From a cinematographic point of view this show was brilliant also. The way the viewer was taken from scene to scene was brilliant.
If I ever won a stupid amount of money on lotto, I would love to fund the remaking of this T.V. series it was that good. Many people I have shown this to will agree with me as I have since bought the series on DVD.
To all reading this, and are thinking about watching this show. Be prepared to laugh your socks off! It's a shame it wasn't advertised properly. The promo team should have been shot for letting this little gem get away!
