Wtf is with the audio
10 February 2023
Loved this movie, but it randomly will loses sync with its audio. It really breaks immersion. I'm not judging the movie itself with my score in pertains to this issue or else I would've dropped it to a 5.

Other complaints include poor use of gore as it seemed like more of a way to make the violence look cooler than making the viewer understand the terror and horror of close quarters medieval combat.

These events were real history and let me be the first to tell you, the bohemian empire was super interesting with drama and intrigue comparable to that of Rome. They didn't seem to really capability on these events in a good way. They made it seem more bland than it is portrayed even by history books.

All that aside I thought the story was really entertaining and I've always been a big fan of Foster so a 9/10 is the lowest I could go.

Season 1 was great!

Season 2 is where the entire show derailed in the intro sequence. Bad writing at its core. I sighed at least three time during the first five minutes. Those of you who did the same understand why. Those of you who didn't just have bad taste.

A MOVIE MADE AFTER ITS TIME
16 April 2022
NO SPOILERS-

The quality of this movie can't be overstated. The one mistake they made is making it during the age of #themessage. This movie should've come out twenty or thirty years ago before the quality of films degenerated into the swill that is passed for entertainment in the modern day.

The current generation and generations to come will not be able to enjoy this movie as they are accustomed to being spoon fed what their political beliefs should be as well as slapstick humor every other line of dialog.

It is unfortunate to say the least. I hope we can get a sequel to the masterpiece.

Garbage
4 February 2022
Voice acting, sound, and graphics are good.

The game is just like the last, poorly written. None of what you did In the last game matters. Clementine isn't who you played her to be in the last game. The writers immediately try to endure to to a new version of clementine that is over the top ridiculous.

This game isn't tailored to how you play. The decisions you make change dialog options later on in the game but the same people will die no matter what and I don't anticipate the next game to be any different.

This is what happens when you hire movie and to writers to make a video game. They should be ashamed.

Above 6 = fanboy idiot

The graphics, voice acting, character development, and sound are spot on. This is expected given the success of the first and increased budget.

The failing of this game is pacing and writing. Falling down or jump scares are cheap plot devices sprinkled throughout your gaming experience. Instead of just telling a good story you're forced into nonsense "action" sequences that are so clunky and poorly made it would make even Ubisoft cringe.

This is all in stark contrast to the first game. Which had clear cut game mechanics that were easy to understand and well explained when they weren't. You can really tell the devs dropped the ball on this one for the sake of cash grabbing.

Edit: Had to come back and really hammer home the poor mechanics. From one QuickTime cut scene to another the problem persists. They can't make the mechanics clear or change them so dramatically that you have to replay the same scene over and over.

Poorly made game. Devs should be ashamed of themselves for yet another abortion of a once great franchise.

Crocodile Dundee goes to Dubai

Story simple and straight forward. It's kind of a mad max in India style Netbuster. Non stop action, evil drug lords, Michael bay explosions. It's a good time with some really well done fight scenes.

Hemsworth does a good job. The writing is decent enough. The kid they chose is a bit off though. Not the best choice.

Cons cons cons, pros
24 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The actors and script weren't the problem with this movie. The realism is where the ball was dropped.

Realism Cons: -Computers don't beep.

-operators would never be as incompetent as keifers team was -Anyone with even a little common sense knows you don't point a gun at 6 cops with their guns drawn on you. You would die immediately.

-crossfire never seems to be an issue in these types of movies.

-i hope the CIA wouldn't send a rookie with a prisoner into a heavily crowded stadium when they could just tell him what to do over his encrypted cell phone.

-camera work was a clumsy.

-action sequences had a fast and furious feel too then sometime.

-romance was a bit stiff in the script. Seemed like they were trying to force it.

-... I'll stop here, but the list goes on.

Pro: -the base story, actors, and "some" of the script were spot on.

-the basic concept of the story was good. It could've been more gripping with a few little tweaks.

-As always Denzel's acting was spot on. That man is unstoppable when it comes to making a character compelling, dangerous, and believable.

I would've loved this movie if Hollywood didn't feel the need to push a bunch of unrealistic nonsense into every boring scene. The CIA is full of computers, plain walls, and boring analysts. The boring bits can be made entertaining if the director and writer(s) know what they're doing.

The movie was gripping at times and made me sigh at times. I really enjoyed Denzel, Brendan, Ryan. They all put their hearts into their work. The rest of the crew did too. That is what I really enjoyed about this movie.

Could've been great
29 January 2020
There was a lot of potential. Driver and Cosby are amazing and this movie doesn't diminish their image in my eyes. In fact it makes me like them even more. Despite the weak script they are able to make interesting characters.

Political sentiment is clumsily sprinkled throughout the movie and pulls you from the immersion.

Camera work was good. The props, set, and makeup were all up to snuff.

The zombies performances were stupid and annoying. I could Look past it if that were the only issue.

Little things that didn't make sense were bothersome too.

Town of 738 couldn't afford three full time cops, a kid prison doesn't have male and female housed in the same facilities. The kids in those facilities would never behave so tamely. Just little consistency issues like that.

I can look past all these previously things. After all it is a zombie movie... But, The great sin of this movie is that it wanted to be self-aware and ironically humorous, but the writer didn't know how to do accomplish either. It comes off as desperate and completely breaks all immersion. In conjunction with the stupid ending and lack of character relatability I can't give this more than 3 stars.

I really wanted to like this movie. So many great actors and actresses.

Meh... 50 hrs in and it's not any better

Excluding the bugs that come standard with all Bethesda games. It is insulting to me as a consumer that Bethesda would treat us like children in the way that they do, I'm speaking of the atomic shop and recent business blunders I'm sure you're all already aware of.

This game is a walking and/or trash collecting simulator. The progression system is stupid. Nothing you do makes you stronger because the game completely scales to your level. Grinding is mandatory, but absolutely useless as every few levels you're forced to change to new weapons because of how the scaling works. They're just trying to waste your time and get you to buy stuff via micro trans.

This show is fictional on many levels. Not entirely fictional, but more than not. The battles aren't accurate in how they were fought or fought with. I suffered through the first season. I had it playing in the background while I did stuff around the house. Listened passively.

When I started the second season I found myself sitting and watching every episode from start to finish. They had a noticeably bigger budget and better performances all around. Enter Mark Hammill, and I was hooked.

I want a 3rd season, but the first season really hobbled this show. As it stands, it can give us at least one more digestible season.

Love it, but...

Great script, characters, character development, actor, sound track, setting, and general tone. This series made a lot of actors careers and it is easy to see why.

But, That camera work gives me a headache. I can see their skin pores.😖
