Outlast (2023– )

I love the premise.

I love the premise of the show but they need rules. The Demon team was awful. They should not be allowed to raid the other camps. What kind of survival is that. This is Netflix version of Lord of the Flies. Those people are just terrible. Cant win by surviving but have to lie and cheat and steal. Javier should have burned his camp, waited for the Demon Squad to leave to ransack his camp, then burn theirs to the ground, supplies, clothes everything. Then fire the flare. This show should have been called warriors, and tell each team they gave to trash the other team to win. Very disappointed In the show.

Shetland (2013– )

This is a great show.

I found this series. I have watched every episode and enjoy every minute of every episode. I hate to see Jimmy go. This show makes you want to be in Shetland. Watch with closed caption cuz the accent can be strong. I'm not sure who is coming next but I hope they develop the character well and not mess the show up. With Jimmy gone, I hope they keep the rest of the cast. With so many shows out there this one developed the cast, made you root for them, cared about them. From the first episode to the last, waiting for the episodes to come out was tough. Now I can watch it again without interruption.

Love on the Spectrum U.S. (2022– )

I loved the Aussie version, so I binged watched this one. They are truly God's special children. Everybody deserves love. Steve has a great voice, wish I knew him. He would be fun to hang with.

The Many Saints of Newark (2021)

Ok, I have watched it twice now. Hard to follow but I like prequels. As hard as this was, developing the characters was rough. Casting James Gandolfini son, Michael as the young Tony was a miscast. As ideally as it was, he was very milk toasty. His voice was effeminate and I didn't believe he would grow up to be Tony.

So to me this was the reverse of JLo's Maid in Manhattan. It's a cute movie but predictable. Loved the ending. So of the story line, not introducing the daughter til later. But consummating the marriage confused it all.

They are making it hard to believe. He sees them coming to the house and he has time to move the priest to his car, then go back and get the boy and drive off and NOBODY SEES HIM.

LA County isn't anywhere close to a border. LAPD wouldn't send an officer out of county. The county Sheriff of that city would send help if needed.

A training officer would never berate a rookie in front of a suspect.

Was a funny episode.

He loads his gun but doesn't arm it til he is outside. Good thing he didn't need it when he walked outside. Now he blows a front tire and abandon s his truck. He could of drove on that flat for 30 miles easily especially with 4wd. Ugh.

A Border Patrol Agent for 32 years and CANT SPEAK Spanish? They have to be able to speak Spanish to graduate. He seems to naive. All that time on the border and he still gets in trouble.

I was told about this show and then ended up bingeing the show. It was happy, sad and emotional. 95% of those on the Spectrum never find love or couple up. I wish them all the happiness. .

I have Waited years to watch this movie I recorded them back to back Bill 1 and Bill 2. Besides theQuinton typical bloodbaths it moves slow boring and ridiculous.

I liked the movie but the subplot with Beckett could have been left out. It gave nothing to the movie. It she was going to have a love interest. It should have been a local boy.

Baldwins will never sell, JD cant live without Erin. Now for the hard to believe. Why isn't the military after Curt? They declared him dead, paid out benefits and he went AWOL living as someone else, so fraud plus he owes child support and alimony. Plus he is still married. Dumb plot.

Depressing

I live on Maui so I wanted to see the show. It billed as a comedy but it is no where close to a comedy. Three known comedians and they make it a depressing show about a dis functioning family, daughter who psychotic stalker, perv son who is rudderless, another rich white lady who can't hold it together and wrap it up with a drug addled hotel manager. A honeymoon couple we already know she is going to die and no wonder, she married into a weather snooty family. Oh and top it off with the drug possessive friend who sets up a burglary.

Why. 3 great comedians in paradise and they screw it all up.

It's a sleeper and should be put to bed/.

I love Gwyneth Paltrow and with the other in the movie it should have been good. But for me, this movie was terrible because of David Schwimmer. He plays this part like a sad Ross. So this is a must miss dont waist your time.

Watched the first two season, didnt like it when Devito left but it was still ok as a ghost. First two seasons we loved and watched quickly, then came season 3. What a disappointment. Sex and bodily fluid jokes and skits. Watched it thru but couldnt wait for it to end. Hated the Danny Porker character.

Resident Alien (2021– )

I normally dont like these types of alien shows or sy fy stuff. This show is hilarious. The mix of blunt humor and dark humor works. The music is fun. I hope they dont ruin the premise.

Nights in Rodanthe (2008)

I chose this because of Diane Lane. It was mostly predictable except for the ending. What a dumb way to end the affair. A landslide, really? Plus he was a well known doctor from the states killed in a landslide and it never makes the paper? His son shows up on the very day. Highly unlikely. Better ending would have been she reads it in the paper or sees it on the news breaks down, then the son shows up and she lives happily ever after.

It was just a nonsense movie. Luke Wilson musta been in for the money, he added nothing to the show. Other than that it is a movie for the non thinker.

They have a good cast. It was slow moving and the character development was missing. I had a hard time figuring out who was who. I did like the story line and it just tipped on being a good movie. Up until they set the guy up for the video, it was slow and seemed un coordinated. After the set up, it moved at a good pace. Seemed un likely the girl would go public with the mobsters trying to bump everybody off. We lose the son in law after is arrest, what happened?

I saw this movie when it came out in the theater. 45 years later all I remembered of the film was Lynda Carters nude scenes. It was a typical movie of the mid 70s with scripts and poor acting. It almost a satire of Bonnie and Clyde. Acting was poor, dialogue was corny and the shout outs were Hokies. Add the idiot Sheriff and you have this movie. It is still a must see for cult classics. Or just to see Lynda Carter and the othe girls going topless.

You had to know this movie was going to be dumb when you watched it. But that is what makes this a fun movie. Dumb lines, bad wigs, nice location. You dont have to think, just watch and laugh at them. I would have given it a higher score if I based it on other movies of this quality. Dont judge just watch.

This has been one of my favorites. Kim is so innocent and probably at her most beautiful. this is just a feel good movie, you dont have to think about the plot just sit back and watch and enjoy the simple life of Texas and their dreams of being somewhere else.
