Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Seriously very poor
I am a very big advocate of people being different and judging things for themselves but on this occasion may I suggest you rewatch a film you enjoyed rather than unbelievable dribble, this film has hit the lowest of low points of all time and then to add insult to injury it's two and a half hours long. I had to give it a score just so I could hopefully save the rest of humanity from this awful rubbish.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
It's a no to the faster frame, way too sharp.
A massive fan of the Lord Of The Rings films so was so looking forward to the Hobbit. I loved the film and thought it followed on the fantastic film direction that Peter brought to the LOTR, however I am not a fan of 3D and felt it did nothing to make this film any better than watching it in 2D. Also the faster frame speed made the film look too sharp as if it was post production waiting for the the bits to be done that makes it feel like the films we all love. I think the faster frame speed would be excellent for nature programs but not films it just does not work! Hoping to watch it again in 2D at a screen that does not show it at the faster frame rate after that my rating hopefully will go up to 10 out of 10 as the 9 rating is only due to the picture not the film
Serenity (2005)
If only the last 3 Star Wars films could have been this good!
Having watched firefly I couldn't wait to see this movie, although was worried about how it could really work on the big screen. Wow, from start to finish I was sat on the edge of my seat, it was everything a sci-fi movie should be and more, it was also full of some great one liners. The acting was out of this world, no wooden actors to be seen here. I took my wife to see this movie, she'd never seen Firefly and is not a fan of sci-fi movies but to my surprise she loved it, so it really does not matter if you've seen, or not seen Firefly. I really can't recommend this movie enough, star wars really starts to look poor when you see this how brilliant this film is.
Elephant Juice (1999)
Easy going British film about love lost and found
There`s nothing heavy about this film, its a nice easy going film about relationships in the real world and how cheating on each other has become a part of life, but in this case it also allows people who have become the greatest of friends to let their feelings go and see what there looking for is really right in front of them. So many films have been made with much larger budgets but don`t have the realistic feelings that are here. You will not regret watching it and may well be able to relate real life with this film.
