So bad I had to keep my eyes closed
1 June 2024
I went to see this movie with a group I could not leave alone in a theater, so I had to sit through it. I was keeping my eyes closed for most of the latter part, because it was so painful to watch.

  • The dialogue is terrible. Most of the lines don't make a point and actors repeat the same thing for 2-3 times. I would have covered my ears if it was possible.

  • The plot is not interesting. Movie tries to make a point that stunt actors dont get enough credit. The director is a former stunt actor, and he should have stayed as one, because this film is actually embarassing to all stunt actors.

  • People responsible for this should not make movies. Movies are supposed to be entertaining. I still dont understand how Gosling and Blunt agreed to act in this. I will have to check other reviews if they are bought from India, because no way this film should have a 7/10 rating .

Matt Damon chewing and talking
29 August 2020
I tried to watch the film, but it was too annoying. First Matt Damon is negotiating with Lee Iacocca -character while chewing gum the whole time. In the next scene he is talking with Christian Bale with food in his mouth. Had to stop at that point, sorry.

Terrible ending
24 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the puzzle-theme, but was disappointed when Agnes betrays Robert in the end, although she had promised to go to the competition in Brussels. Also I cannot understand, why she would do this. What is the point of going to / starting a life in Montreal all alone? If she did not love Robert or needed her own time, she could have booked her own room for the trip.

People go to movies to see characters they can relate to. If you cannot understand the choices of a character (Agnes), It's just frustrating.

Much better than the book
10 November 2019
The film has a different and funnier plot than the book, avoiding the darker twists. I really liked the main actors, one of my favourite films of all time.

Walked out of the theatre
13 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the first movie with Tim Curry, who was quite funny as Pennywise and he also had style. However after the scene in the new movie, where Pennywise has the boy's paper boat, and when the boy reaches for it, he bites the boy's hand off, I left the theatre. People do not want to see a movie, where the good kids are first blackmailed and then killed, because that makes the villain too chaotic and repulsive. Only greedy/bad characters who break the rules should be killed.

Josh Brolin eating and chewing
12 May 2019
In the beginning Josh Brolin is chewing a gum and speaking at the same time, which is annoying. Then after 15 minutes or so, he is eating and speaking simultaneously, after which i stopped watching.

Why on earth do the actors have to eat while speaking? Please eat while the camera is not filming. This is just annoying and does not add anything to the movie.
