Evil: O Is for Ovaphobia (2021)
Most disturbing episode yet
All subplots in this episode were quite disturbing, in a good way. This series is getting weirder and better and more interesting as time goes by. The third season may be truly pivotal.
How It Ends (2018)
Bad movie, not because of the ending
I love movies with open endings and ones which explain very little of what is going on. So the ending didn't bother me one bit, I actually liked it.
But the movie is bad. Whitaker is a great actor, but the material he's been given is under par. Photography is decent, but the movie itself is just a throwaway with no depth. Good ending, though.
Independence Day (1996)
Worse movie ever
This movie is really bad. Period. There is no way an intelligent person above 20 can like this movie. It is stupid, insulting and badly shot. The president's speech is one of the lowest points in the history of cinematography. It's unbearable in its teutonic structure. Sooo bad.
Cut (2000)
Stay away from this movie!
This is one of the worst horror movies I've ever watched. And I've watched many of them. I can't begin to describe how bad it really is. Incoherent plot, awful acting, incompetent directing, bad effects, zero thrill, no fear-factor. How can it be possible to shoot a movie like this I don't know, just make sure you don't find yourself in the same room as this movie.
Ghosts of Mars (2001)
An under par effort by mr Carpenter
This movie would be bad if it was made for tv, let alone for cinema. It's decisively a misstep on the part of Carpenter, a master of the genre. We're nostalgic of masterpieces such as "The thing" and "The fog". The ending in particular is a complete letdown, it really leaves you speechless, as rushed as it is. Were they on a schedule? If you're not a Carpenter fan, don't go watch this movie. If you are, watch "Vampires" on tape once again.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992)
Speechless
This movie leaves me speechless. There are no words to describe it, it is an absolute masterpiece. It perfectly describes the absurdity and desperation of everyday life. It gives no hope because there is none. It is incomprehensible because that's the way life is. It is the definitive metaphor of reality. Nothing has any meaning, nothing really matters, there is no cause and no consequence, only casualness and loneliness.
