Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002)
Ya-Ya's and the Red Hat Society!
I saw this with several of the members of our local chapter of the Red Hat Society. The experience was highly enhanced by seeing it with my "sisters". A very moving picture that shows the importance of having "sisters" like this to help you through all the good times and bad that life throws our way now and then. The Ya-Ya's started out in childhood together but it doesn't matter when you meet your soul sisters as long as you have somebody to count on. Highly recommend this movie for all women everywhere!
Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002)
Enchanting!
As an adult I really did enjoy this one. I watched it with my 2 granddaughters and the 3 1/2 year old was fascinated and the 15 month old giggled at the mice.
The music is fun and the animation is wonderful. This sequel does what Return to Neverland didn't accomplish. A good follow-up to the Cinderella story; but what becomes of Drusilla? Another sequel? I hope so!
Return to Never Land (2002)
I Miss The Crocodile!
I took my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter to see this one. And while she was enchanted with it; I miss the crocodile. The octopus just isn't as good as the old croc. The magic that was very present in the first Peter Pan movie just wasn't there in this one. The music was flat. BBMak performing "Can You Believe in Magic" is at the very end when everyone is getting up and putting their coats on. They are worth listening to. I miss Walt.
