The Lost World (2001)

Brilliant adventure from the BBC

This is a superb TVM based on the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A fine cast support the absorbing story line. The special effects are as magnificent as in ‘Walking With Beasts' - but are not overplayed - they are simply a part of the story. Brilliant, and well worth watching.

Wild Africa (2001– )

Brilliant documentary from the BBC

In the same season as 'Walking With Beasts' and 'The Blue Planet', this brilliant programme looks at life in Africa, from Penguins on the coast to Wildebeests in Tanzania; through the mountains, savannah, deserts, coasts, jungles, lakes and rivers. Definitely worth watching!
