Holy Spider (2022)
Disturbing realistic scenes of suffocating!
There should be warning on the advertising and description of the movie because of multiple unnecessary realistic display of suffocations (at least 5).
Although based on true story, it lacks having a balanced view of the society towards the event. It was huge fear and anger among the community when it happened. It just shows all people were happy about that- which could be may be 1% or less. Even the hardliner government did not accept it.
Also it doesn't go to the root cause. The main actor is claimed a war veteran who is not happy with prostitution in the most religious city of Iran. But war finished at 1989 and the event was 2000, 2001. Why he didn't acted in that 11 years? What triggered him? Why he did multiple murders.

A film about sweat lies
A film that looks like a documentary that how we would like to lie to ourselves.
It is so well set that you may don't feel it is a feature.
Done on a 4K professional camera to get more closer to reality.

Well-directed, well-acted realistic movie
This well-directed and well-acted movie, telling different short stories, gives a realistic view of contemporary Tehran and Iran. The director is actually revisiting her old characters in her previous movies to see what has happened for them after these many years. Having known that, even without seeing and remembering all previous characters, the film has its own great new and independent stories. Movement from each tale is smooth although the duration of each part is not timely balanced.
After all, the effort of the director and actors to show true stories of normal life, although it is looking at the dark side, is well worth watching for true cinema lovers who want to see realistic movie.
