DO YOU SMELL WHAT RAW IS WAR IS COOKING?
20 May 2000
All you jabroni's know your roll and shut the hell up. Monday night Ray is the best wrestling show on TV and that's the bottom line. Vinnie Mac has created a spectacle that shouldn't be missed. The line up of wrestlers are led by two young superstars The Rock (the most electrifying man in sports entertainment) and HHH(The Game) but there are also oter great wrestler Kane, Too Cool, The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz and the Godfather. Does WCW have wrestlers whose music can just play and the whole crowd will ignite and listen to every god damn word he has to say (The Rock), does WCW have a tag team which the whole crowd will be calling for tables (The Dudley Boyz), does have a move where the whole crowd will join in when it takes place (The worm) Does WCW have hot babes like Trish Stratus, Terri, The Kat, Does WCW have a wrestler who can drive into the stadium and jump in the ring and kick some ass (Stone Cold) No, No, NO. Everything WCW does it copied from WWF. WCW copied the hardcore title, they moved the commentators ringside like WWF, Tell me Goldberg isn't a complete rip-off of Stone Cold, Every second wrestler in WCW is former WWF (Lex Luger, hilk Hpgan, Steiners, Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall) What other orginization would have come up with an Inferno Match, A Tag Team table Match, Hell In The Cell, Buried Alive Match, A Hardcore title (defended 24-7)A Kiss My Foot Match(classic-Bret hart Vs Jerry The King) I mean if you like the WWF is the most xciting two hours on Television. You can run your mouth on how it is bad but if you arn't down with WWF I got two words for you "SUCK IT" If you smell what i'm cooking. I know I'm not the only one out there, if there are any other fans out there, come aboard the WWF train.

A GREAT SERIAL KILLER MOVIE!!
20 January 2000
Many people say it's too much like Se7en and yes it is very similar in alot of ways. Some of the puzzles were solved too easily but still I enjoyed this film. There isn't much gore but there are after shots of the death scene like in Se7en so we don't actually see the killing. I enjoyed se7en so something similar wasn't bad it was much better than other serial killer movies like The Bone Collector give this one a go.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL TWO!!
13 January 2000
This movie goes off the plot of the first two and revolves around a serial killer. i didn't mind the idea of making it more of a slasher flick, but the movie doesn't live up to the greatness of the first two. it is better than the part IV but keep to the first two, if your a fan of the series you might want to miss this because this one is pretty lame. Detective Lucas McCarthy finally apprehends "Meat Cleaver Max" and watches the electric chair execution from the audience. But killing Max Jenke only elevated him to another level of reality. Now Lucas' family is under attack, his sanity in question, and his house haunted. Aided by a disreputable college professor, can Lucas reclaim his mind, house, and family? Features Lance Henriksen as the Lucas McCarthy and Brion James as Max Jenke. One of the few movies featuring these actors as main characters.

As a singular movie it would have been good but not as part of the House series sort of like Halloween 3.

CHEESY 80's SLASHER!!
12 January 2000
This movie is pretty lame, but not unwatchable. The acting is cheesy and the killing scenes are ultra cheese, but I did like the killer, his face (mask) was cool and when he talked to the girl he chained up his voice was great. It was an interesting concept but the makers didn't maake it solid enougth, a lot of loose ends, and holes in the plot. The story is Somebody with very little Christmas spirit is killing anyone in a Santa suit one London holiday season, and Scotland Yard has to stop him before he makes his exploits an annual tradition. It's a very cheesy flick, special effects arn't great but a good watch if you like 80's slashers.

GOOD IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT!!
10 January 2000
This may be based around a subgect that has the potential to be disturbing and some scene were in this film, but all up this film was pretty good. Written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, Brainscan, The Game) which is a reason for watching it, some great acting be Nicholas Cage and Joaquin Phoenix. The story is A small, seemingly innocuous plastic reel of film leads surveillance specialist Tom Welles (Nicolas Cage) down an increasingly dark and frightening path. With the help of the streetwise Max (Joaquin Phoenix), Welles relentlessly follows a bizarre trail of evidence to determine the fate of a complete stranger. As his work turns into obsession, he drifts farther and farther away from his wife (Catherine Keener), family and simple life as a small-town private eye. All up some disturbing parts, not unbearable but all up a good watch if you can handle it.

ENTERTAINING WATCH!!
10 January 2000
This was an interesting movie, a lot of genres were included in this. I think it would have been muc better if it included more gore, throw in some blood and guts give it a higher rating. but it was more a family movie which was okay, great special effects, and some above average acting. Reading another review I found out some interesting facts which are very true which shows this movie is very similar to the evil dead moive, first off Rick O' Connell, played by Brendan Fraser, was kind of like Ash from 'Evil Dead', a square-jawed hero who was there just to do the dirty work while the smarter characters solved all the puzzles. A shoot first, think later kind of guy. There was even a Book of the Dead in the film, as there is in 'Evil Dead', which when decrypted has the power to bring the dead back to life, again just like 'Evil Dead'. The mummified priests in this film took the place of the zombie's in 'Evil Dead', having been brought back to life their only goal was to destroy Rick and his friends. Should have had the gore of Evil Dead. All up an entertaining watch, it'll keep your attention throughout.

PRETTY GOOD THRILLER!!
10 January 2000
Pretty good thriller. Lots of twists and turns to keep your attention. Great performances from Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. The story is Washington DC detective Dr. Alex Cross (Morgan Freeman) travels to North Carolina to investigate the apparent kidnapping of his niece (Gina Ravera). Aided by escaped kidnapee Kate McTiernan (Ashley Judd), Cross hunts down the kidnapper, who operates under the pseudonym "Cassanova". Pretty good watch, nice performance by casanova all up a good movie.

A GOOD HORROR FLICK!!
10 January 2000
A good horror flick, not to much to dislike about this movie, some good performances, and an interesting killer. (shouldn't see the killer's face at the end, much more mysterious without seeing it) The story is Innocent people are being killed on the streets by a maniac dressed up as a cop who seems to have insider information to the police business. This monster of a man has to be stopped. All up a good watch, isn't the best movie but that's what makes it so good.

CHEESY 80's FLICK!!
5 January 2000
This is a really cheesy movie, for the low budget it was made on it was okay. But this wasn't that great. The siamise twin brother looked weird and the kill scence looked so ridiculous ( you would see the hand on the face, then go away then come back and the face was bleeding when the hand wasn't even penetrating the skin) the effects were lame, the siamise brother looked like a lump of clay being dragged around be a string, the acting was hopeless, the killing scenes were pretty lame good if you want to see some blood splattered around. The story is A young man carrying a big basket, containing his deformed Siamese brother is seeking revenge on the doctors who separated them. An average movie, but I prefer the 80's slasher films over films like this, but an okay watch.

A GREAT MOVIE!!
2 January 2000
A great movie, a interesting plot and a who done it all the way through. I enjoyed this movie immensly, the countless decapitations were great and the headless horsemen looks great. Direction was great my Tim Burton, he created a great atmosphere that fitted the movie perfectly, Andrew Kevin Walker's screenplay based on the classic Washington Irving story the Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. The story is Johnny Depp is Ichabod Crane, sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate a strange series of murders where all the victims have been decapitated by the headless horseman. A fun movie, heads do roll, lots of cleavage Depp plays the wimpy character pretty well all up a exciting and entertaining watch.

NOT DARK ENOUGH!!
30 December 1999
This was an okay movie, but to make it better i think they should have made it much more darker, freakier, creepier which would have been a good watch. The witches in this are just playing games with witch craft, if they had became really bad and evil as the powers over took them it would have been much better. Fariza Bulks character was the only one which was satisfying.

The story is A new girl moves to a new city with her family to start a new life. She meets up with the girls who are very interested in the occult and together, the four of them have a seemingly unstoppable power. They can do anything, from getting their dream guys to like them to... the possibilities are limitless An average movie, should have had a atmosphere like se7en or 8mm which were very dark this was to bright and comedic to be a scary movie, to be much more scary it should have had that evil feeling.

A GREAT MOVIE!!
30 December 1999
This movie is more for the teenage viewers rather than older people. I liked this movie, from screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker this movie kept me entertained for the full 90 minutes. The story is Edward Furlong plays a teenage slacker who loves computer games and horror movies. He receives a copy of the latest game in the mail, Brainscan. In the game you act like a killer and you kill someone in a timelimit, making sure to cover up your tracks. But when the deaths that he commits in the game start happening in real life, there is reason to worry. The guy who leads you through the game, The Trickster comes to life and informs Ed that he must play the rest of the game's cd's for all of it to go away, but it doesn't. There is a Freddy Kruger type character called The Trickster there is enougth gore to satisfy all up a great movie. There are some twists here and there and a big twist at the end.

WEIRD MOVIE!!
30 December 1999
Very stranger movie. We get to see Freddy's past life as a father and get this he has a daughter. Again a bad sequel to the original and best of the series. In part six of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, dream monster Freddy Krueger has finally killed all the children of his hometown, and seeks to escape its confines to hunt fresh prey. To this end, he recruits the aid of his (previously unmentioned) daughter. However, she discovers the demonic origin of her father's powers and meets Dad head-on in a final showdown (originally presented in 3-D). The movie was a bit hard to follow at times, maybe it was cause I don't like the Nightmare series, check out the next one New Nightmare and the original Nightmare.

IT'S GETTING WORSE!!
30 December 1999
It's getting worse, the series is on a serious down fall. The first two sequel were acceptable and from then on we have seen a buch of really, really terrible movies. Robert Englund gives another great performance as Freddy but the rest of the cast can't act. The story is Alice, having survived the previous installment of the Nightmare series, finds the deadly dreams of Freddy Krueger starting once again. This time, the taunting murderer is striking through the sleeping mind of Alice's unborn child. His intention is to be "born again" into the real world. The only one who can stop Freddy is his dead mother, but can Alice free her spirit in time to save her own son? Check out the first three, miss the next three then watch the last one.

A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A SEQUEL!!
30 December 1999
This movie is pathetic. Terrible acting (Robert Englund was good as always) bad plot if there was one and Freddy had just become a little baby. The story is Following up the previous Nightmare film, dream demon Freddy Krueger is resurrected from his apparent demise, and rapidly tracks down and kills the remainder of the Elm Street kids. However, Kristen (who can draw others into her dreams) wills her special ability to her friend Alice. Alice soon realizes that Freddy is taking advantage of that unknown power to pull a new group of children into his foul domain. Avoid this excuse for a sequel it isn't worth it.

AN ACCEPTABLE SEQUEL!!
30 December 1999
Okay this was an acceptable sequel. At least this one kept to the story of the original one which was a bonus. Freddy was still a little menacing but still tried to be funny to many times. Star of the first returns which is another plus. Other than that an average movie. The story is Picking up where the original Nightmare left off, Nancy has grown up and become a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy. She meets a group of children at a local hospital facing Freddy Krueger, the same demon she once encountered in her sleep. One of them is Kristen, who has the power to draw other people into her dreams. Working with a male doctor assigned to the case, Nancy helps the kids realize their special abilities within the nightmare world. When Freddy captures one of her charges, she leads a rescue attempt into Krueger's domain, in hopes of putting his spirit to rest once and for all. This was a satisfying sequel, and well worth the watch, but don't epect anything like the greatness of the original.

NO WHERE NEAR THE GREATNESS OF THE ORIGINAL!!
30 December 1999
This isn't the worst of the sequels, but it is no where near the greatness of the original. In this edition the makers tried to make freddy funny, and this took away a lot of his menacing, dark and evil side. Instead of being scared of Freddy the audience were thinking what is this guy doing. At least in this one he is still a little bit evil he gets more and more of a comedic character into the series until Wes Craven fixes all that with New Nightmare. Stick to the original and New Nightmare.

GOOD ACTION/HORROR MOVIE!!
29 December 1999
This was one of those slick action movies that was made to look good on screen, and it did, the vampire fighting sequences were excellent, there was plenty of blood and gore the whole movie looked good to the eye. It was a fun watch and very entertaining. Good movie but I didn't like how Blade could slice vampires in half and they would just die, it looked good but vampires don't die by getting sliced in half. Other than the vampires and how many rules were not kept to in this movie, Wesley Snipes gives a good performance as Blade and Stephen Dorff is great as the evil vampire. The story is when Blade's mother was bitten by a vampire during pregnancy, she did not know that she gave her son a special gift while dying: All the good vampire attributes in combination with the best human skills. Blade grew up to be a vampire hunter for revenge on his mother's death. The vampires, who managed to infiltrate nearly every major organization, need Blade's very special blood to summon La Miagra, the blood god, in order to gain reign about the human cattle, as they call us. If you beleive that vampires can only be killed by a stab to the heart and the weapon must stay in the heart and chopping the head off are the only ways to kill a vampire you won't find that in Blade. But Blade has it's moments and I would recommend it as a good horror/action movie.

HAD THE POTENTIAL FOR SO MUCH MORE!!
29 December 1999
This isn't a totally bad movie. The giant roaches are pretty freaky. The movie tried to mix science and horror to make and interesting story and it would have been with a bit more work. This had the potential for so much more. The movie had it moments I liked the giant bugs and how it could mimic things. There was a dark, evil and menacing atmosphere was present in the subway scenes which had the potential to be scary, but failed to live up to expectation. The story is a disease carried by common cockroaches is killing Manhattan children. In an effort to stop the epidemic an entomologist, Susan Tyler, creates a mutant breed of insect that secretes a fluid to kill the roaches. This mutant breed was engineered to die after one generation, but three years later Susan finds out that the species has survived and evolved into a large, gruesome monster that can mimic human form. Not a bad movie, if you like Alien Resurrection or Species you'll like this. The bug creature is the like the one in Men in Black but you see it it doesn't have a human skin over it.

A GOOD MOVIE WITHOUT THE GORE!!
29 December 1999
This is a very good horror/mystery/thriller that avoids violence and gore and creates a frightening atmosphere. Good acting and a solid story. The killer at the start is a great character "Time is on My Side, Yes It is" Him singing like that makes him more menacing. The story is Det. John Hobbes is convinced that when killer Edgar Reese is executed, all of his troubles are over. But when people he knows and people on the street start to sing the same tune that Reese sang in the gas chamber, and those same people taunt him, he is told that maybe the cursed fallen angel Azazel is behind it all. Azazel is cursed to roam the Earth without a form, and he can switch bodies by any contact, making him hard to track. When Hobbes is forced to kill a man possessed by Azazel, he must clear his name while protecting his family and others from the evil, vengeful Azazel. If you want a break from blood and gore and you want a good movie give this one a go.

AN AVERAGE WATCH!!
29 December 1999
This is a really weird movie. it starts with this guy in church, then he jumps into an taxi all angry because the guy in the church touched him and his girlfriend is saying how did he know your name and address. From there the we find the guy is struggling for money and next door a band never stops playing music. So he decided to start killing people with an electrical drill. There is a sequence of about 10 minutes were he just runs around the streets killing person after person which was pretty cool. The story is an artist slowly loses his mind as he and his two female friends scrape to pay the bills. The punk band downstairs increasingly agitates him, his art dealer is demanding that he complete his big canvas painting as promised, and he gets into fights with his girlfriends. When the dealer laughs at his canvas he snaps, and begins taking it out on the people responsible for his pain and random transients in the manner suggested by the title. Not a bad movie but not a great movie, i have seen worse. Some average gore, some pretty bad acting( the two lead roles look Like John Travolta and Catherine Zeta Jones) It's a bit unbeleivable that a guy will just starts drilling people but that's okay it's an average watch.

NOT THAT GREAT!!
28 December 1999
I don't know about anyone else but The Sixth Sense wasn't that good. Good performance by Haley and pretty good by Willis and Collette but other than that the movie isn't that good. Alright the three dead bodies in Haley's house were pretty cool. The twist ending, before i saw it all I heard about was this big twist ending and while watching it I thought well isn't this obvious. When he's sitting with toni collette she doesn't even look at him like he is not there, in the restaurant his wife just looks around, and once you add up all these things you realize hey he must be.............. watch it and see. I don't know but maybe all the hype surrounding the film wrecked it like so many other movie that have made it big in the US before they come to Australia.

GREAT SUPPORTING CAST!!
28 December 1999
A very dark look at the life a of paramedic going through a tough time. This was a average movie, and I loved Ving Rhames performance as the paramedic always wanting to have fun and a very religious man. The rest of the supporting cast does great especially Marc Anthony playing a crazy guy, but the leads are not as good. Directing was well done by Scorsese.

The story is 48 hours in the life of a burnt-out paramedic. Once called Father Frank for his efforts to rescue lives, Frank sees the ghosts of those he failed to save around every turn. He has tried everything he can to get fired, calling in sick, delaying taking calls where he might have to face one more victim he couldn't help, yet cannot quit the job on his own. A typical scorsese film, very dark, and well worth the watch.

GABRIEL BYRNE STEALS THE SHOW!!
28 December 1999
Arnold Schwarzenegger vs. Satan had the potential for so more. The movie was filled with false scares and the characters tried to be funny at times. The movie isn't that good but it isn't bad. Gabriel Byrne gives a stand out performance as the devil and many of his speeches were very true and thought provoking. The story is Arnold is Jericho Cane, an ex-cop trying to deal with the passing of his wife and daughter when he is called on to protect a girl who Satan needs to complete his evil plan when the clock ticks over to the year 2000. Big Budget film with lots of special effects used to get your attention. AN action packed movie Arnie fans will love this.

A BAD SERIAL KILLER MOVIE!!
28 December 1999
his film wasn't that great. I hated the fact that the serial killer was leaving clues on who and where he would kill next. i would much prefer a straight out killer who had to be caught like in Seven. I've heard that the book was much better and a lot of sequences from the novel were left out of the movie which were great parts in the novel. The story follows a serial killer who is a taxi driver. He is kidnapping people and killing them, copy-cat a serial killer immortilized in a book called the bone collector. And a paralised Denzel Washington and a young street cop Angelina Jolie have to stop him. I also hated the fact that in some scenes were he would go "well there this and this and then there this so that mean he going to kill here and kill this person" that is total BS.
