Hilarity ensues!
17 November 2002
Six half hour episodes full of sly humour and wit. I can see why some people don't find it all that funny- some of the humour is a little subtle and English for some.

War is one of the most ludicrous things there is and Blackadder plays up to that, particularly the legendary incompetence of certain sections of the British Army. There's everything here: battle-dodging generals, the sly cleverer-than-everyone-else Captain Blackadder himself, sweet but totally dumb upper crust Lt. George and the utterly stupid plebian Private 'I have a Cunning Plan' Baldrick. All the recognisable stuff from Blackadders 1-3 is here with the added extra of war jokes.

Sarcasm, irony, wit and a lot of mud. Well worth watching, especially if you'd like to see Hugh Laurie in a dress...

Neighbours (1985– )
Neighbours- Why I love it
27 September 1999
When I was about seven years old, I switched the TV on, and there were the opening credits of Neighbours, complete with the broken window and the cricket ball. Since then, over ten years ago, I've been completely addicted to the show. I don't exactly know why. Jason Donovan may have had something to do with it, and admittedly, the show has never been quite the same since Scott & Charlene left. Although there have been awful moments, some bad acting and chipboard sets, it's still pretty good. After Helen died, it was the end of an era, and maybe the show has never recovered, but I'm still addicted.

Is there a better movie?
27 September 1999
OK, so I've seen Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Star Wars Trilogy, Titanic, The Godfather, and all those other films that contest the sought after prize of Best Movie Ever. Well, I don't know if The Godfather Part II is that movie, but it sure feels like it sometimes. I love all those other movies, except maybe Star Wars. And yet I still keep coming back to Part II. The pull of both Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in one movie is too much, and this is a better movie than Heat. It's got all you need- family, love, violence (a lot), passion, violence, opulent scenery, violence, what more do you need?

Little Giants (1994)
OK, So this is actually good
11 September 1999
Amazing. This is a good movie. It can be a little bit sappy, but it can mean a lot. You can quite easily psycho-analyze it to death, but if you just sit down, watch and enjoy, it's a good film. Becky/Icebox's conflict between being the two sides of herself, the tomboy and the girl is something a lot of girls have been through. And who wouldn't when the object of affection is Devon Sawa? There are decent performances all round, and it might not be destined to be a classic, but it's not a bad movie. In fact, it's a very good movie.
