i truly disliked this movie except for jennifer rubins .ms.rubins growth as an actress is the only bright spot in a badly scripted confusing movie about a love affair bettween the three leads and i do mean between all three.i am still trying to figure this one out so if its on cable or you see it at a video store skip this one its not worth your time

When a Stranger Calls (1979)

thriller

this movies opening is the most intense film i have seen everything about this opening is what all suspense films should be. the suspense builds and builds to the point you catch your breath and your heart rate goes up .the suspense pretty much ends after that but its a great ride do not watch it alone

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)

i really did not enjoy this movie .if they had to do away with the sequels then this story could of been fresh .it would of been much more interesting to see laurie strode in a normal life married with kids and the last thing on her mind being her crazy brother you know like geena davis in the long kiss goodnight just bring it on her without a thought .if nothing else they could of done a magazine article about how laurie survived 20 years ago and have some new wacko come after her i give this one a 2 out of four just for jamie lee curtis doing this movie.

Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

i was a huge fan of halloween 4.this next chapter was not even in the same ball park .it was rushed and poorly written the saving grace was danielle harris who was the only one in this films second half that did not make a fool of herself .ellie cornell must of been under contract to do a sequel because she is far too talented to do this film somehow i think she got off lucky

only watch this film if your a die-hard halloween fan then again if you like the previous please skip this and go on to part 6 which is somewhat better than this one 1 out of 4 rating here

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)

i enjoyed this chapter almost as much as the first .danielle harris played jamie as how a real child would react some of the scenes she is so raw emotionally it is uncomforting .pay close attention to her facial expressions in the school house and you will realize what i mean .there is some great acting to find in this movie ellie cornell did a great job as rachel i think the fact of how normal her character seemed was a nice element to this chapter .it was like you could know a kid like jamie and a teen like rachel .it just adds to the element of you wanting them to survive.

Adventures in Babysitting (1987)

enjoyable family film

this film is enjoyable for the whole family elisabeth shue played this role nicely even though she does seem a bit old for the part. of course there is some weakness in the storyline,but it is fun and light hearted .the bar scene was my favorite just because the cast looked as though they were having the best time. it is suitable for all ages ,in fact this film has become a christmas tradition in my home ..i give it an 8 out of ten rating

Tuff Turf (1985)

this film was different from the looks of kim richards and robert downey to the music it was very fresh for its time.it was serious high camp. kim richards the star of many disney films gives what seems to be one of her last roles a nice performance as the tough girl unsure of why spaders character is attracted to her.spaders performance was a bit wooden and came across as dull.the second leads added life to the dull moments especially robert downeys energy added to this film made it worth watching. you will either love it or hate it their is no middle ground for this film.

Seven Minutes in Heaven (1986)

this movie was a simple story well acted film.connelly was very lovable and likeable .the warmth she shows in this character is remarkable considering her age most actresses half her age cannot show the depth she showed in this film.all three leads were very good the female best friend showed such a comic edge in her character she is extremely likeable and very funny. this movie is simple and done well.the teens seem like real teens not the kind that save the planet or treat their parents like morons but true life teenagers that are just normal kids awakening to adulthood .if you remember being a teen or are one watch this movie

The Operation (1990 TV Movie)

well acted well crafted film

the three leads in this film rocked.the plot twist and turns keep you interested until the end.lisa hartman gives her best performance in this film. sexy yet vulnerable she more than proves her talent and shows what a major talent she is ms.quinlen as always turns in a fine performance. well worth seeing
