Wrong Place (2022)
Worst Bruce Willis movie ever.
A real waste of time watching this movie. If you think you might like this movie because you liked other Bruce Willis movies in the past, think again.
The villein is a dim witted idiot. You at least expect someone to match brains against. The plot makes very little sense. The acting skills are virtually non-existent.
Tell me how it makes sense for someone to be shot in the chest, appear to be dead, stuffed in a plastic bag, then into the trunk of a car, then into an acid filled pit, and then wake up an hour later, hike a mile, shoot the bad guy, get shot a second time, and still be okay? Avoid this movie.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
They put one over on me
I am not a Trekie, but I have seen every Star Trek even made (except the animated series).
I was looking forward to the new series, but I had no idea that it was not going to be shown on network TV after the first episode. I only found out that it would be subscription only after I had watched the premier. There is nothing else I would watch on the pay service, so there is no consideration of signing up. Even if I would consider it, the quality of the show was disappointing.
If your show is named "Star Trek..." you have a reputation to live up to, they did not. Neither the acting or the plot lived up to my expectations. I'm sure Trekies will sign up for their service because of this show, but I doubt many others will. This seems like a really bad marketing idea to me.
Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008)
Don't watch this under any circumstances!
I was sick in bed and needed something to watch. This made me sicker.
Some of the very worst acting and script I have ever seen. Your time would be better spent watching paint dry.
The plot makes no sense.
The special effects were the least special I have ever seen.
This is a waste of my time writing this review, but I have to write enough to save some other poor sole from having to endure the fiasco of a movie.
It starts with an all girl team of soldiers with no explanation of why there are no men. I suspect it was hard finding men to appear in this movie. One of the girls thinks they will not be taken seriously by people at the destination if they are not in full battle gear. This is the only line in the movie that makes sense.
MegaFault (2009)
Worst disaster movie I have ever seen.
This is the worst disaster movie I have ever seen, and believe me, I have seen far too many.
If you can believe that people can be as stupid as the characters in this movie and that the plot was good enough to pass a 6th grade English class, then this is the movie for you.
I didn't have to write any spoilers. You can easily guess what will be happening in the plot. If you can't guess, then go watch a few good old disaster movies and get yourself an education.
I could not wait for the entire world to blow up so that movie would be over. I had to settle for just turning off the TV.
Song of the Thin Man (1947)
Poor finish for the series
The last in the William Powell & Myrna Loy Thin Man series was one too many.
All of the classic elements were there, but were lacking in punch and enthusiasm. There is nothing wrong with this movie, except by comparison to the earlier ones.
The lack of spark in the writing and acting make me say that they should have ended the series one movie sooner.
Cube (1997)
Bad, Bad Movie
Poor script and bad acting. The only character who seemed interesting was killed off very early in the movie.
I watched the movie to the end (which was a mistake) in hopes that things would become clear at the end. They did not.
There was no reason to care about any of these characters and I didn't.
