Awful, truly awful...living proof that a sucker is born every minute.
3 January 2010
You know why they hype movies like this, or Blair Witch or Open Water? Because they are so bad that only a Lemming who can so easily be led off the cliff could ever be convinced it's brilliant. This movie does have some scary parts but come on, would you stay 3 weeks in a house that's so obviously haunted? Yet these people did. That and no budget or script or plot make this eighty six minutes and four dollars and ninety nine cents I can never get back.

Truly AWFUL! The writer/Director of this garbage obviously watched Blair Witch and Open water about 10 times too many each because it's the same no budget, small but highly talentless cast, idiotic jerky camera work...so much so, all 3 movies could have been created by the same person.

Even with the quirkiness and errors it was interesting
31 March 2006
The first 10 minutes had me thinking this was one of the worst movies ever produced. As it went on it became more watchable and evolved into a quirky sort of interesting movie. There were some seemingly pointless scenes and some artsy for artsy sake bits, but the plot itself as well as some of the effects were actually pretty decent.

As for the acting, Sean Astin was as good as Sean Astin gets, take that for what it's worth and the seemingly unknown cast was fair with only a few who were brutal actors.

Overall, this was an interesting free watch, I might have walked away from a theater scratching my head mind you :-)

An info film for Canada's housewives of 1958
20 March 2005
This is a twenty three minute long info film from the National Film Board of Canada. Made in 1958 it's a humorous and satirical attempt to make housewives of the day aware of proper nutrition and good eating habits for their families. Probably not many reasons to buy or view this film unless you were in it or in my case, your uncle was in it (the guy on the couch :-). I picked it up online from the National Film Board a couple of years ago. Twenty three minutes and twenty seconds long, color film, produced in 1958. Directed by Don Haldane, Produced by Guy Glover. Film is available online at NFB Video Sales web site. Great little look in to 1958 Canada and the state of the art National Film Board.

Shoot me if you must, but I liked the movie.

Ok, let's face it, it's not an Academy Award winner, but Pluto Nash was a fun movie (catchy theme music too). I can't believe all the bashing this movie has taken, for a goofy fun movie...lighten up people and enjoy. Pluto Nash may not be Gone with the Wind, but it's also not Dude Where's my Car :-)

I had to give this movie at least a 7...I was an extra in it ;-)
16 September 2001
Chevy Chase was pretty good in this as was Jane Seymour. Pretty good story, a fun watch (I've seen it over 20 times and still get a kick out of it). On a personal note a lot of the "London" scenes were filmed in Old Montreal, Quebec Canada and I was an extra for a week. That's me driving the little brown Triumph GT6 MkIII (my old car) in the opening scene as well as 2 other scenes...that's my 15 minutes of fame done ;-)

Quite possibly the funniest movie ever made!
6 February 2000
Appearances and cameos by everybody who was anybody back in 1963! I've seen this movie easily 20 times over the years and I laugh as hard as the first time I saw it...every time :-) Spencer Tracy is brilliant in on of the last films before he died & Johnny Winters gives one of his funniest performances. A real must see movie!!!

More effective than Sominex! The worst movie I've ever seen.
28 August 1999
We saw this at the drive in last night and I just can't believe what an awful movie this was. People were leaving in droves after 30 minutes. We stayed thinking "It's got to get better"...it didn't! I guess all the hype to drag people in was because there's no way people would be coming from word of mouth reccomendations. Quite obvious it was made on a low, low budget.

We went in expecting Kiss Meets The Phantom 2, but saw a pretty funny movie.
12 August 1999
We won tickets to a preview showing and both went in expecting the worst. I'm a Kiss fan from the very beginning, but I remember how bad Kiss Meets The Phantom was :-) We both laughed throughout the entire movie. It's a fun 70's movie about 4 kids doing whatever it takes to get to a Kiss show. It may not win any Academy Awards, but I think anybody who goes in with an open mind will walk out having enjoyed a fun movie.
