The Blair Witch Project (1999)
Three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods and no one cared.
After all the excitment and hype I finally decided to go see the Blaire Witch Project. I found this to be a major disappointment. I applaud the film makers and Artistan for making so much money on a movie that anyone with their own video cam could have done better. This would have been a little better if Heather would have been the first to disappear since she is the most annoying of the bunch. I view this film as an education experience. How not to make a movie 101.
This was a mix of bad acting combined with constant swearing. The writers had a good idea but just couldn't convey it properly.
The Fantastic Four (1994)
The Doomed Duds
This movie gives new meaning to the word Camp. This makes the early Batman and Robin series look good. The effects (what there are of them) are totally lame. Alas not even George Lucas could have improved this movie. I would highly recommend getting a good writer and adding in some good computer generated 3d effects and stick to the comic book for the origin. This is basically a movie with no budget, no script and 4th rate actors. I don't even think the writer ever read a Fantastic Four comic.
Clerks (1994)
Funniest Comedy Ever!!
Clerks is a movie about a day in the life of two average schmoes who just happen to have some of the wildest craziest stuff happen to them. Dante and Randle do the things all of us wish we could or would have done. Kevin Smith is the master for off the wall comedy. This is a movie that you can watch over and over and still pick up on something. I laugh every time I have watched Clerks (seen it at least 20 times).
Hot Times (1974)
Archie meets Cheech n Chong
I've seen this movie too. If you know who the Archies are then you might enjoy this spoof. At least you will finally see Archie get laid. This is a good movie to sit back and relax with your buds and down a few 6 packs.
