Namu, the Killer Whale (1966)
For children that like whales
Not a great film, but entertaining enough for small children that love films about animals in the Walt Disney tradition. Unfortunately, this film is probably not aging very well because the message, "killer whales are nice, humans are bad", has been shown a lot, for example, see the "Free Willie" movies.

Food for thought (contains spoiler)
When I saw the faces of the children in this short film my first impression was to wonder what was keeping them so quiet, so fix in the camera, and especially, so absent and serious. So "un-child". Then, I've got a feeling of guilt and I did not know why; the faces were telling me "Why you adults are behaving like this?" "We do not understand". The surprise came in the end when we get to know that these children are just watching TV. So, my impressions were not so wrong after all! This short will make you think twice before letting your children alone in front of the TV.
Nijisseiki shônen dokuhon (1989)
If Fellini would have been Japanese...
A very poetic film, full of oneiric images. I think I saw in it a strong 'Fellinian' influence, specially in the way of presenting the characters and in the use of music. By the way, I liked very much it, concretely the theme that sounds with the credit-titles at the end of the film.
