Jury Duty (2023)
Best Jury Documentary!!!
If you've done jury duty this series has to be watched. Everyone is an actor except Ronald. Judge, bailiffs, lawyers and jurors are believable, even James Marsden is believable. I even watched it a second time with commentary. Makes you feel what Ronald is going through during the hilarious moments. It had me busting up a 2nd time during the commentary. I really loved the judge, I couldn't believe how real and professional he was, even during the craziness, he brought back order to the court, I was worried at one point when he was outside with a bloodied hand and was thinking this was going to be phony, but the commentary explained the bloody hand so you have to watch it.
That Thing You Do! (1996)
Classic Musical Comedy
I've always wondered why I was glued to this movie everything I turned it on and consider it a rating of 10. Well, I think I give it a 10 because I've been in a band in the 1980's but never got the record deal or big venues. I watch this movie and feel for the band's ups and downs. I laugh at all the group's jokes and music relations as a group. Tom Hanks wrote a great story that relates to the past musicians on what it took to try and get to the top and with this movie gives a perspective on each musician and what their motives on what they want in their life while being in the band. Now if a young musician watches this movie they have an idea of what it was like.
FUBAR (2023)
All Characters Are Great!
I thought this was gonna be another blah Arnold thing but after the 2nd episode I started loving all the characters. Hilariously funny, stupid and suspenseful, there's gotta be a 2nd season. My favorite character is Roo, I think I'm falling in love with her, but yes, please Netflix, bring back Arnold and all the characters back, we need to see the full story and bring back Tom Arnold, then add another crisis, maybe with Arnold running for President in 2024 and his family living in the White House showing us how he stays healthy and cooking good food, sorry folks, I'm trying to get my minimum character limit.
I Am Vanessa Guillen (2022)
1st Bill Not Passed Blamed on Trump
I would of rated this a 10 but because the producers and writers decided this would be good media blaming Trump for not passing the original bill was bogus. At the time the House and Senate was Democrat majority. At least Trump saw the sisters, Biden did not when the sisters came out to DC the 2nd time.
I give Mayra much praise for giving life to this bill and I'm sure now 2022 she truly understands what involves with political science. I was happy to hear the mother and Mayra give their true thoughts on the superiors of Fort Hood and place them on alert because they need to resign. I hope in the years coming that Mayra will be a future congresswoman, she has that fight and gumption instilled in her heart and soul.
The Mystery of Her (2022)
Ratings Should Be Higher
I was on the border to whether to not watch another teenager movie but this was actually for all ages. The start of the movie forces you to watch to know what's happening. I don't want to tell the whole story but this movie draws you with good scripts and acting and what I like is that your trying to find out where it's going. Also what draws you is the scenery of the locations with beautiful landscapes and I was in awe of the art building with paintings and sculptures, I guess it helps if you have a 4K television, I would imagine it would of been great to watch this at a movie theater. I was happy with the ending.
A League of Their Own (2022)
Starts Great Then Fizzles
1st Episode starts out very interesting, to me starts out as a "9".
Then 2nd episode slows down and depressing, at the end of 2nd episode I cut it out, I was hoping for at least a challenging series. Loved Penny Marshall's version, maybe I was expecting an equal.
Shining Vale (2022)
Get a 2nd Season Going!
That's down right mean in leaving us where you did, What did Daisy say? Let's get it on people! Like I said that is down right low. Yall can't leave us hanging. I paid good money on Starz.
Find Me Guilty (2006)
Vin Diesel Best Acting
Out of all the movies I've watched on Vin Diesel, I say this was one of his best performances as an actor in drama and comedy, truly believable.
Fatima (2020)
The 1952 Version is Better
I was hoping this version would give more details, instead it seemed like it was rushed and shortened. Before you go and rent or pay for this movie, watch the 1952 version "The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima".
The Sixth Sense (1999)
Job Well Done
This movie has it all, not since "Silence Of The Lambs" has there been a great thriller. I can't explain "Sixth Sense" as much as I would like to. When I first watched this film in the theater, the volume was "UP" and that's what helped spook a bunch of us. There are only 4 scenes that may make you jolt and it only contributes to the film. Every scene will make you follow, this is with the help of Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, you can't help being mesmerized by the acting and keeping you centered on these characters. I'll go out on a limb and say that this is the movie of the year (so far). This is the first movie that forced me to watch a second time because "curiosity was killing the cat" for those of you who have seen it, you know what I mean. After watching this movie, I can now say Bruce Willis is a fine dramatic actor. 'Job Well Done'
