I enjoyed the 1st "Bullet Proof" . I did not care for the new main characters. Wayans and Sandler were far superior to the new characters bearing their names. I cannot buy Faizon Love as the real Jack Carter. Skip this sequel and watch the original

Not sure what went wrong

This movie has lots of action, pretty good action too, and there are a lot of fun lines, even if they are mostly juvenile or misogynistic. I don't know why it doesn't work for me, it all just came off really flat. I can't even articulate why. It's not a total waste of time to watch, but don't be expecting the big laughs or any surprises.
What's the point?

Seriously?!?!?!?

My guess would be that any positive reviews are created by people paid to promote the film. This thing was a complete waste of time. Not really a continuation of the previous movie. Stupid over the top characters and definitely wrong choices for leads. Poor acting.
Absolute garbage!

The only person I recognize is Faizon and he is not great in this role. All the characters are stupid and extra! Punchlines are flat. The men are all ugly but the women are gorgeous! Movie/ plot are just dumb... from LA to South Africa Over gift cards! "Act black, be cool!"
Great fun

I was very sceptical before seeing this, but it is quite good... the production is great, special effects are great, the women are beautiful.. This movie is nothing like the first one though... This is very good, but also very different. The two main carachters on the poster really does not make you want to watch this, but i promise you will not regret it
Good flick

A bit funny and intense at certain point, but overall not satisfy and too many talking! Should have done better!

Warning: Spoilers
This film start with a DEA officer "Jack" having conversation with his crew in the car, and he take down his criminal subject scene! As turnout, this film is about Jack going undercover to take down a gift cards syndicate with a crook "Archie"! The crude humor in the film at certain point quite laughable, but felt overuse and bored along the way! The action scene in the film have, bloody shooting, martial art fighting, shooting with RPG, and car chase! But overall too short, and not satisfy! Barely intense is, shooting scene on the ship, and shooting scene at the strip club! At the end, Jack take down the syndicate, and have the bullet remove from his brain! At the very end, Jack's superior "Battle" shouting his name! Must have sequel coming! That's it! Another disappointed film!
I'll give them a two for trying

Pearl Thusi
ryanpersaud-5941516 January 2021
So, you're sitting down, watching a sequel to a 26 year old movie with none of the original people starring. It's pretty lame, although you have to admit, Faizon is always pretty fun.
Then, near the 3rd Act, there is a scene. THAT scene with Pearl Thusi. I can't express how shocking it is to see possibly the best seduction scene I have scene in years in the worst comedy I have seen all year.
Watch that scene. That is all. Holy crap, Thusi is a babe.

I did not see the first feature. You get a grasp of the main points throughout the feature. Carter (Faizon Love) is an undercover cop operating with a bullet in his brain from the first film. Archie Moses (Kirk Fox) put it there. Carter goes to South Africa to set up the Schmidt Syndicate and the Mexican Cartel in a deal so they can nab them both. Things go bad and Archie Moses is dragged into the scheme.
The grindhouse plot is not believable but the women are all pretty and mostly topless. It consists of a lot of humor and jokes. I had to laugh.
Guide: F-word and nudity.

With or without....

I won't lie, it was better than I thought it would be. But it wasn't the uproarious feelgood time I had with the first one. This one didn't have much for quotable quotes especially compared to the first. It felt more like having to watch a nephew or niece's awkward fanfiction. They wanted to know what happened next, so they wrote it and played it for you.
Yeessss!!!

Finally a movie for guys!!! It's politically incorrect and funny as hell. If you can take a joke and give one back, then tune it. This is vulgar, in-your-face, funny-as-hell buddy comedy. The two guys were funny, the girls were great and super hot and the action was hitting hard! FUN!!!
Better than reviews say

Where do I start?
1. This is not a movie, but a collection of action scenes while there is just enough one-liners to give the symbolism of dialogue between scenes. Oh, and during these action scenes there are so many edits, reshoots, multi-angles that you have absolutely no idea who is shooting who or why or even care.
2. Dialogue- Not really dialogue but a collection of one-liners generally screamed at each other. The one-liners are never funny, with a passion to be discussing various sexual body parts. The screenplay feel like it was written by a horny 14-year-olds.
3. Soundtrack: to make up for the sorry direction and storyline there is a banging rock or hip-hop song being played loudly in the background to distract you from the mess on the screen. The soundtrack when paired with the super-edited scene comes across like a GTA-inspired video game.

Stupid Movie

What is this garbage I just watched? Seriously? I thought this double standard crap went out with the 70s. Obviously this movie was made for men, perfect women and what did us women have to look at? One who resembles Earl and the other one was an elephant. They would never let women get away with that crap. I did like the action but that was it. I didn't see Bulletproof 1 but I will watch it. I can guarantee I will like it better than this one. I just wish I could get my hours back for this junk.
B-level sequel to bad original
SnoopyStyle5 May 2024
Jack Carter (Faizon Love) is now a DEA agent working under Special Agent Battle (Tony Todd) who assigns him to take down a global drug cartel in South Africa. Only he has to go undercover posing as petty criminal Archie Moses (Kirk Fox). It's been a long time since his work with Moses.
I don't remember the original at all. That may be a good thing. It had two great comedians not gelling together. In this one, I basically come into it with a blank slate and it is nothing more than a B-level action thriller. It is still a lot of angry banter. The starting premise is not the best. I don't know why Carter would not pose as someone that actually looks like him or maybe pick an agent who looks like Moses. Since they're using new actors for the roles, they should pick two who actually look alike or just change the premise. This is barely passable for streaming if expectations are low. I don't know if the original helps or hurts.
