Diana actually did present Charles with a videotape of "The Phantom of the Opera" for their seventh wedding anniversary, though the video has never been publicly viewable. It is unclear if she sang "All I Ask of You" or only danced to it. The video was also reportedly the entire show, with Diana only appearing for that song.
At the time of the avalanche, Diana and the pregnant Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, were at the royal chalet in Davos and did not ski that day. Aside from Maj. Hugh Lindsay (killed) and Mrs. Patricia Palmer-Tomkinson (serious leg and lung injuries), the other four skiers in the group, including Prince Charles, were able to take evasive action from the snowslide by skiing to safety. The rescue helicopter arrived about 20 minutes after the incident.
Jay Webb portrays the dancer Wayne Sleep, who was Diana's dance partner in their "Uptown Girl" performance at the Royal Opera House. Webb had previously performed in a memorial tribute performance to Princess Diana at Her Majesty's Theatre that was directed by Wayne Sleep.
