Warning: Spoilers
This is the exact same series except they added "The Beginning" to the front of the title and labelled it "2019".

Not sure what they were trying to accomplish in this show as they (the writers/directors) seem to be even more clueless than the ones working on TWD.

When you have an outbreak that apparently spontaneously turns people to flesh-craving zombies and within a couple hours all radio stations go silent and all cell phones stop working and the military is running around in small groups murdering everyone they encounter, you've got to think whoever wrote this is totally clueless.

Not to mention that all those zombies, despite being hours (or minutes) old look like they've been dead for weeks (or longer).

I'm expecting more dumb stuff like how in TWD you can slather zombie blood and guts all over yourself (even your face) but apparently only get infected if you get bit (despite everyone already being infected as they discovered in season 1). They started early in this show where even people that know how to use firearms kill armed soldiers but don't pick up their weapons. And people, safe in their vehicles, see a zombie and leave their vehicle to go blindly running through the woods for some idiot reason.

And dumb sub-plots where the star gets out of his car with his wife and young daughter and the 3 of them start running into the woods together.......except that within a minute they lose the wife somehow (because the subplot called for them to be separated and they couldn't figure out how to do it so she just "disappears" and never calls out to the hubby to slow down or anything. You know, like people would actually do in such a situation).

Little wonder this show hasn't had any other reviews. It's like no one has ever seen it !

It's too bad. If they'd just try to be a little more realistic and THINK about what it would really be like, they could make a great show.

But they won't.
