Really enjoyed the ride but was very unrealistic. Sit back, enjoy your popcorn and drink of choice and turn off your brain. 😊

Good action by Lifetime standards

A complicated conspiracy to convince a woman her daughter is dead and she has blocked it out. It's interesting to see how she goes after all the people conspiring fool her. The actress Kelly Thiebaud is quite good. There is quite a lot of action by Lifetime standards and grand finale is exciting.
Horrible Movie. Don't Waste Tour Time.

Yeah this story made zero sense

At first I'm thinking this could be a decent cerebral thriller, sort of like the Netflix movie "Fractured". Boy was I wrong. This was way too implausible, not to mention violent.
I was utterly confused the whole way through. You mean to tell me that this multi millionaire paid off the teacher, nanny, psychiatrist, ex-husband, the police, forged a death certificate, bought a burial plot, and somehow deleted the kid's school record and photo history on the mom's phone? Give me a break. And there was no other human who could vouch for the fact that the daughter is alive? How about ask the school for surveillance footage of her daughter's drop off?
At first you feel sympathy for the main character, but that goes down the drain once she clobbers everyone in her path.

I love Lifetime, but this was bad

I have a chronic illness, so I will admit that I watch a lot of movies and I love Lifetime movies, the cheesier the better ;) My favorites are the mystery/moms in distress, so this sounded perfect. Boy was I disappointed.
The lead actress was very appealing, but that's as far as I can go with positive things to say. You always know where these movies are going but this one was just ridiculous. And the fight scene... I'm all for female empowerment but that was just ridiculous.
Also, I know that a lot of Lifetime movie are made in Canada and star Canadian actors, but a HUGE pet peeve of mine is when an actor (the husband in this case) slips out of their American accent. He even asks to use the washroom instead of the bathroom. I actually laughed out loud when he said that!

Blair Witch Project
lavatch11 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Blair Ayken is the title character whose sanity is questioned by those around her when she insists that her daughter Lori Ann is alive. The others claim that the little girl died in an auto crash, due to her mother's negligence in texting while driving. The film peels away the layers to expose a conspiracy that reaches into the police force, a psychiatrist's office, the Maple Woods elementary school, a cemetery, and Blair's lout of a husband, Simon.
The filmmakers excelled in keeping the audience off-balance for about half of the film. An interesting set of characters complemented the dynamic Mrs. Ayken. The glue that held the film together was the relentless mother who knew that her daughter was alive.
Two of the most interesting characters were the ruthless billionaire, Ms. Kincaid, and the psychiatrist, Dr. Pierce. The two unscrupulous women were the two major roadblocks in reuniting Blair with little Lori Ann. An amoral aspiring actress named Eloise McCreedy played her role to the hilt as the nanny, who also served in gaslighting Blair. The best line in the film was when Blair was walking out of the police station after conking her shrink over the head, then telling the police detective that Blair is as "mad as a hatter."
An essential reference point in the film is the first day in the third grade for Lori Ann. It was a drawing made by the child celebrating her advancement to third grade that was all the evidence Blair needed to know that her child had never perished in the auto wreck. The love of a mother for her daughter has no bounds, as apparent in this version of the Blair Witch Project.

Another dumb LMN movie
pumping_iron-117 November 2019
Use to love LMN. However, the quality of their movies and actors are steadily declining. This one was no exception...dumb storyline and bad acting. Lori, the 8 year old, was more believable than any adult in this movie. She (Lina Renna) was also the best actor in the movie.
Wrong Date on Tombstone
mhutchins-1467227 May 2019
So the daughter has been dead for a year! The movie came out in 2019, I am watching the move on Lifetime May 27, 2019 and as it shows the mother at the cemetery where the daughter was suppose to be buried, the dates on the tombstone reads as:
February 3, 2011 - August 18, 2019. Hello, August 2019 has not arrived yet.
worse than Unsane (2018)
NijazBaBs19 May 2019
Too bad movie. Typical theieves and crime. Predictable events in the 2nd half of the movie. Quick finished. Holes in the story. Lack of good enough detailed intro and more full explanation of events. Funny a bit. Good idea. SImilar in story to Unsane (2018) but not even comparable to that great movie. Bit of lack of emotions, facial expressions, and reality. Most stuff is boring, looks fake, and is done too quick. No adventure. Only beginning has some quality, while the rest is not worth watching. Nothing interesting to discover by the end. Typical chasing of criminal and trying to prove the truth, although extreme beginning. So extreme to not even look real but like comedy, joke, sci-fi.
kill the soundtrack!

It was too difficult to focus on the plot and acting with that ridiculous, repetitive thumping sound track, which was too overpowering, loud.
The plot may have been okay IF we were able to endure that background noise, which made if difficult to hear the dialogue too.
