Sometimes they're not so accurate with cultural things. Last week two of them were getting drafted into a war that ended 1973. This week one of the kids was wearing a lynyrd skynyrd shirt. Not a chance in hell any of those kids knew who skynyrd was in 1973.

They lost me when the mom is pulling "dry" laundry off the line when the entire yard is SOAKED in rain
Jokes seem to be recycled about the lead kid wanting attention at all costs. Parents striving to be mediocre at best. And normalizing a teenage girl being sexually harassed at work and justifying it for the sake of keeping the job.
The pathetic Chiquita banana skit at the end. I'm not even sure if the series can dig itself out of the obvious comedy traps it's fallen into. And I'm hoping it will. Every previous episode has been better than this- holding out hope for redemption
