- TriviaJodie Comer nearly choked to death while shooting her scenes in the restaurant. The incident happened as she was filming a take of the close-up shot in which she had to eat a mouthful of pasta, and as she was choking, her scene partner, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, simply thought she was making it up for the scene. A paramedic arrived on the set and prevented the worst from happening.

Wide Awake
It is the penultimate episode of the second season.
In this game of cat and mouse, Villanelle knows she has Eve in her playful paws. It is now time to deal with her husband Niko and his infatuated lady friend Gemma.
Eve is meanwhile worried about Villanelle's latest mission in Rome with Aaron Peel. Two psychopaths together, that is a volatile combination.
Aaron Peel has taken Villanelle but he is unsure about her. He uses all the mighty technology in his disposal to keep track of her. He also wants to control Villanelle, at the moment how she dresses and eats.
Aaron certainly displays the power of the information he can gather when he talks to a prospective buyer. Even in that meeting he wants to control Villanelle.
There is never anything straightforward in Killing Eve. This was perverse, dark and twisted and I don't just mean about the ending.
