- Roberto Rossellini realized with Jacob Levi Moreno this short (not transmitted) for RTF. It is the prototype of Da Storia Nasce Storia (1991) by Ottavio Rosati broadcasted 35 years later by Italian TV Rai3. The historical meeting of 1956 was organized in Paris by A. A. Schutzenberger and revealed to Roberto Rossellini a particularly congenial acting technique for a potential new didactic TV. The director of photography was the young Claude Lelouch. In 2018 Maria Cristina Sidoni has finally found this old Moreno/Rossellini experiment in the RTF archives; Italy has produced its digital restoration with the Archivio Nazionale Cinema Impresa, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma and the Institut National of l'Audiovisuel, in collaboration with Museo Moreno directed by Marco Greco. In 2019 Istituto Luce Cinecittà has published the DVD with subtitles and a booklet in three languages with articles by Adriano Aprà, Maria Cristina Sidoni, Marco Greco, Roberto Cicutto, Ottavio Rosati, Paola de Leonardis, Sergio Toffetti and others. Le Psychodrame has also been presented at 2019 Torino Cinema Festival and at 2019 La Festa del Cinema di Roma. In 2020 it will be presented at Facoltà di Psicologia Sapienza by the rector prof. Fabio Lucidi and the school of Psychodrama Ipod Plays.—Vanessa Rusci
- In the film Jacob Levi Moreno, father of psychodrama and group therapy, with the collaboration of three actors and of his pupil Anne Ancelin Schutzenberger, organizes a strange experiments of psychodrama. He tries to apply his theory of Spontaneity to a group of French actors. Everything happens in a more formative and experimental spirit than a clinical one. Even if times and spaces are very small, filming has a great historical importance also due to the presence of Roberto Rossellini, the director who in those years was doing in cinema something very similar to what Moreno did with the theater: overcoming limits of the script, searching a more free and authentic type of expression. In any case, this 1958 film (produced but never broadcasted by French Televison in Paris) can be considered the first experiment of Moreno's Psychocinema descrived in his books that 33 years later will inspire the italian television Rai3 to produce the series Da Storia Nasce Storia (1991) in a format by Ottavio Rosati. It is also the first experiment of didactic television that Roberto Rossellini will develop in the following years. The film was identified by Marco Greco (president of Moreno Museum) and Maria Cristina Sidoni during the cataloging of the books and archive of Anne Ancelin Schützenberger. It has been restored by the National Archive of Corporate Cinema of Ivrea - CSC to be presented at the 2018 Torino Film Festival and at the 2019 Rome Festival del Cinema by Film Commission and Istituto Luce Cinecittà, with Felice Laudadio, Enrico Bufalini, Sergio Toffetti, Ottavio Rosati and Adriano Aprà.
