A delightful, heartwarming series

Set in 1970's Milan, the series follows Irene Mastrangelo (Greta Ferro), a young woman who takes a job at a fashion magazine to support herself through uni. She soon becomes immersed in the dynamic world of emerging Italian fashion.

The series is well scripted, well acted and well shot. The setting is fascinating. Well worth the time to watch.

A golden sun flared look at the world of beauty

A series about a fashion magazine is not something I would normally think I'd like but 'made in Italy' is so much more than I was expecting. It's a glorious and beautifully shot portrait of the role of Italian fashion as a reflection of society, casting it's lead characters as innocent pursuers of modern beauty. The show highlights the changeable dynamics of 1970s politics, makes you fall in love with Milanese architecture but above all, it's a heart-warming ode to friendship in a rapidly changing world. An antidote for today's crazy times...its like a dream of golden sun and corderoy. 😜Everyone's supremely likeable and sickening skinny. Love it and can't wait for the second series.
