My favorite episode of the Goldbergs yet! Really bittersweet episode but also hasn't the most pleasantly surprising moments

Classic show, classic episode set up. It was cool to see them put the movie and show together. 80s seemed like a fun time. Atleast if you were well off and a teenager anyways. Lol. I have to type 600 letters. So, all I will say is I hope all is well for everyone. I know life gets real real hard, but nothing last forever. Good or bad. That's what people say, although some bad things do last forever. All good things do come to an end tho. Which is a hard truth. Being forcfully postive is on the same level as being ignorant. We all wish life was rainbows and butterflys. However, more often than not, it's just a pit that we all are climbing out of all the time. All you can do is accept it. Peace.

Amazed at the amount of bad reviews for this particular episode. Nostalgic, heartwarming and laugh out loud funny.

Deserves less than 1 star

It's official The Goldbergs has officially jumped the shark. The show has become a little hit or miss in the past couple of seasons, but this one was just awful, I mean Jack and Jill awful. It's sad that a once fresh, funny show has sunk so low, it's time to give it up.

I get the show is a Happy Madison production, but this episode was total garbage. The Wedding Singer was a good movie in it's time, and the Goldbergs was the refreshing comedy ABC needed. This episodic experiment coupled with using it as the launching point of the spin off was hard to watch. I get that the Goldbergs is wrapping bc the actors are aging out and the 80s story lines seem to be running low. Please end the show on a high note and not with anything that looks like this. Worst episode of one of my favorite shows.

Desperately clutching at straws to come up with an old pop culture reference, they resort to splicing in shots from a 1998 movie? So cheesy. And then Adam's heartfelt VHS edit that consists of full HD shots from other episodes, like he was there the entire time in everyone's story to shoot highlight reels in HD. Getting real lazy at this point.
