reviews full of ridiculousness

Warning: Spoilers
This will probably be more of a review of reviews than the actual show....but....

nah, I'll review the show too.

This episode is fine, full of twisty turns that keep you interested without getting too technical in how a nuclear power plant actually functions.

Sound about right for having an enjoyable, hour-long, procedural FBi show we like tuning into? Ala' NCIS, Moonlighting (OLD OLD show), Castle (such fun) or any other well-written but obviously not FACTUAL procedural show? Yah...suits me too for what I expect when I'm tuning in.

If y'all are coming here to get a college degree on nuclear physics, JAG practices (NCIS), being a PI (Moonlighting), novel writing (Castle) or...then.. what-the-actual-???...you should be in college! Not tv watching to become experts! Gawd forbid it just be FUN! (eyeroll)

This episode was every bit as fine as the rest of them...maybe more so because it had an interesting backstory to it as well (the guy being a 10 most wanted as well as a "plant" at the plant)

"Doomsday"

Warning: Spoilers
Whistleblowers, catching FBI Most Wanted criminals, nuclear power plant security..."Doomsday" had a little of everything. There were some very good plot twists that kept me guessing right to the end.

Not being an expert on nuclear power - breaking news! - maybe this wasn't the most factual episode of TV ever written, but it's a Dick Wolf TV drama not a documentary. Taking a little poetic license is fine if you ask me. It's entertainment, after all.

Aside from all the goings on at the nuclear plant, we learnt about a big and tragic part of Special Agent Bell's past, and see the first signs of friction between her and OA, specifically relating to their interpretations of whistleblowers.

A little less intense

Slightly less intense than some of the others, but still a good show. I like how Maggie and OA are starting to bond and reveal themselves a little more.

Full of Inaccuracies!!

This episode is a slap in the face to all the nuclear workers and their families. Clearly the writers know nothing about the nuclear power industry and serve only to stoke fear. The first 5 minutes were so rife with inaccuracies and outright fiction we couldn't finish the episode. It was truly abysmal. It makes me question the integrity of the writers and how far they are willing to go to frighten viewers. If you do an episode relating the nuclear power at least pretend you know what you are talking about. Even the victim being "radioactive" is utter nonsense. Then the agents and others walking near the fuel pool without dosimeters and personal protective equipment. Big fail!

Thumbs down
dncorp24 October 2018
So evident the Script Writers really know nothing about the Nuclear Power Industry.

Ever since the Three Mile Island Accident, Incident, and the U.S. Military's Nuclear Weapons Programs (Manhattan Project), the Two Person Rule Program was implemented and enforced. After many other things happening, anything pertaining to Nuclear required All Personnel to be part of a Personnel Reliability Program.

Most Personnel dealing with Nuclear are under Local, State, National Special Surveillance.

The writers slapping the faces of all U.S. Military Special Warfare Personnel and insulting everybody's intelligence by making Special Agent Omar Adom 'OA' Zidan a former "Special Forces" appear incompetent as doing the Democrats Guilty until Proven Innocent to make Special Agent Maggie Bell appear competent.
