good nature doc
SnoopyStyle2 November 2018
This is a two episode TV nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough about deceptive plants, many of which were studied by Charles Darwin to the disbelief of other scientists. The first episode Murder and Mayhem examines the many types of carnivorous plants. The second Sex and Lies examines the trickery of some orchids. It's fascinating and beautiful. The carnivorous plants are awesome and wonderous. The orchids are informative but a bit dry. The first episode is a must watch and a definite nine. The second is good homework studies but it's not quite as fascinating. Overall, this is good for those who love nature docs or plant loving kids.

Who Would've Ever Thought That Plants Would Behave In A Naughty Way?
Even though I cannot agree at all with this documentary's title "Plants Behaving Badly" - ('Cause I don't see these plants' behavior as bad) - This 2-hour presentation was nothing short of being absolutely fascinating on all counts.

Featuring some beautifully photographed plant-life - This first-rate PBS documentary was an excellent double bill that really holds the viewer's attention.

First on the program was the fantastically bizarre world of carnivorous plants (munch! munch!) and then the focus was centered on the exquisite attraction of the incomparable orchid.

There's no describing to you here the hypnotic excellence of this documentary's wonderfully intriguing subject matter. You really have to view it and see for yourself.
