The Outrider is a zero budget film. With a Canon Rebel DSLR, DIY Lighting Rigs and an old shotgun mic the Director and Producer worked on every aspect of the film. From the screenplay, principal photography, editing, staging, lighting, sound, vfx and cover art. Everything in the feature was made with no cost. The cast of actors worked tenaciously without a fee to help bring this story to life.
All locations were granted for use at zero cost and the score was also created by an award winning composer who loved the project so much that he worked on over 80 minutes of music for the film.
Principal photography took over 60 days to complete in an 8 month span and the director/editor cut the scenes as footage came in.
