I have had the pleasure of growing up on the old horror movies, where practical effects and characters ran rampant, often leaving viewers in fits of laughter rather than fear. That is what happens here. But I have no desire to spoil it.
Language and alcohol use may make it unsuitable for some younger audiences. But compared to what is often on television of late I think most teens would be fine.
Would be great for a sleepover or group movie watching. Pop popcorn laugh, cheer, and guess what happens next.
Go into it with no expectations, and just enjoy it. We did.
