Wei and Empress Dowager enjoy their time for three years at the summer palace. Xian has had 2 boys in the 36 months they were gone and Consort Shu was pregnant but the baby died at birth. Fuca Fuheng succeeds and comes back, finding out his wife died. Hailancha and Fuheng go to the summer palace to warn Wei of a consort who has all the qualities of a perfect woman. She is beautiful beyond imagination. Wei quickly goes back to the palace and Xian says once she sees Chenbi's face she will come running back to take her offer of siding with her.
