Quotes
-
Narrator : Well, when last we saw Bullwinkle and Rocky, they were plunging straight downward toward... Y-You're not plunging down.
Rocket J. Squirrel : We are too!
Narrator : You're going straight.
Captain Peachfuzz : Ridiculous.
Narrator : But...
Bullwinkle J. Moose : You're just looking at the picture wrong.
Rocket J. Squirrel : Yeah, turn your head sideways.
[the scene changes]
Bullwinkle J. Moose : No, the other way.
[the scene changes again]
Narrator : Oh, oh, well, tha... Well, that's better. Yes, our heroes were plummeting towards the ocean far below.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : That's better?
-
[while searching for an extra can of gas for their plane]
Captain Peachfuzz : Say, here's a copy of the Congressional Record.
Rocket J. Squirrel : What's that for?
Bullwinkle J. Moose : I use it to press flowers in. Let's see. Three pounds of gruffy dust and...
Rocket J. Squirrel : Bullwinkle, that's it!
Bullwinkle J. Moose : Gruffy dust? We gotta wait 'til the dark of the moon if we're gonna use...
Rocket J. Squirrel : No, no. The Congressional Record.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : I don't want to quibble, Rock, but this is no time to catch up on your reading.
Rocket J. Squirrel : You don't understand. This is a jet plane, right?
Bullwinkle J. Moose : Right.
Rocket J. Squirrel : And a jet is nothing but a lot of hot air, right?
Professor Wernher von Beige : Right.
Rocket J. Squirrel : Well, where are you gonna find more hot air than there is in the Congressional Record?
Professor Wernher von Beige : Mr. Squirrel, this is a scintillating hypothesis!
Bullwinkle J. Moose : And a pretty bright id, too.
-
Captain Peachfuzz : Unidentified flying object off the port bow! Or is it the starboard?
Rocket J. Squirrel : Unidentified, my foot! That's a flying bomb!
[a bomb explodes]
Bullwinkle J. Moose : You mean somebody's shooting at us?
Professor Wernher von Beige : But that's impossible. In the guidebook, it says the natives are known to be friendly.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : It does?
[another bomb explodes]
Professor Wernher von Beige : It says they're known to be harmless.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : It does?
[another bomb explodes]
Bullwinkle J. Moose : There's another thing we know about 'em, too.
Professor Wernher von Beige : What's that?
Bullwinkle J. Moose : They don't read guidebooks.
[drops the guidebook out the window]
-
Bullwinkle J. Moose : [about the bombs] Gee, those things are getting awful close.
Rocket J. Squirrel : Take it easy, Bullwinkle, there's only one you gotta worry about.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : Which one is that?
Rocket J. Squirrel : The one that has your name on it.
Narrator : And at that instant, a bomb hurdled through the window and landed in Bullwinkle's arms.
Bullwinkle J. Moose : Say, Rock, guess what this one says on it.
[the bomb explodes]
Rocket J. Squirrel : [while parachuting] Rocky and Bullwinkle?
Bullwinkle J. Moose : How'd you guess?
