Sometimes it's obvious but it's quite good. Great acting by So Ji sub and Jung in sun. She has changed a lot since 12 Years Promise. So Ji sub delivers another power packed performance after Oh My Venus. This show doesn't get boring but it could have been tightened a bit more.

Super fun semi rom com

It is a lighter hearted spy thriller with lots of camaraderie and fun. It is hilarious watching how a network of ahjummas can beat the spies at their game. There's a little romance thrown in but the story is much more about the love in the community and how they all support each other. Son Ji Sub is his always very cool self but absolutely enchanting interacting with the Joon- Joon twins who he babysits as a cover. Highly recommended as an entertaining series.
Funny Thriller with Class

This series maintained its quality the whole way through. Great cliffhangers, fantastic acting from everyone, and Ji-seob So like always brings something special to the show.
Great drama with a strong plot. Highly recommended. You'll binge it and not regret a thing.

In the simplest way to put it unique... Fun interesting cute yet thrilling

Idk what to tell you I love to watch foreign movies and tv shows... it can be a bit hard if you're not flexible to see something not in English but I recommend you do...
The series brings something new and unique to the table and mixes very well between a very "fun" cute innocent childish "kinda" perfect world with great set great sounds and music and... (unimpaired by reality and life )
while keeping very well the "secret" and the thriller narrative secret agent style.... The violence the murders the corruption the business
the series perfectly connects to worlds together... (for full disclaimer I haven't finished watching the show yet...) but to my opinion it is a bit cheesy and stereotypical from time to time... But all of that's fine and forgivable with how well done it is...
I can talk about the series a lot... Analyze it deeply... But I don't feel the need... I'm just here to recommend... Which I do... Very highly....
it perfectly connects tow worlds... Both "childish" both "interesting"
it's just unique... (maybe it's not but I haven't got to see anything like this in all of my TV loving life)
should you watch it...? ask your self this... It's in Korean if that's something you're OK with... Either by understanding or with subtitles/... Then you should definitely try it... As simple as that...

Good Enough

Terius Behind me is a funny spy drama, with cute kids and a solid bromance. The action scenes were plenty and well made, cinema quality level. The comic moments were good as well, especially with the parents, who were funny and the real everyday heroes. Another thing that this drama had going for it was the character development. The lead lady was really good with her character overcoming all the obstacles and herself as well. So, the performances were really good from every actor and actress, even the kids. However, the story god boring towards the end. The love story was really weak as well. Finally, the last episode and the conclusion of the story was out of the blue . So, 7 out of 10.
Mystery Action Guy

I like So Jisub in action Kdrama. He is very manly and mysterious, lots of charisma. I liked his action scenes and he delivers emotions on his dialogues. I just didn't like the female lead. I know they needed a weakling personality but they could have chosen someone better in terms of chemistry. She acts well though but she doesn't quite fit to the role.
Story was quite obvious

Super Funny!!!

This series is what the doctor ordered. I mean it took a serious plot and made it funny. It was that easy. And it packs a punch when it comes to comedy. It was always unexpected and always gives you that full out laughter. No wonder So Ji-seob landed Best Actor for his role on this series.
So Ji Sub and the Kids.
AJ_McAninch17 August 2021
Great cast and moments of charm and humor especially when focused on family, friends, and So Ji Sub with the precious kids. As an action film pretty uneven, though, but I enjoyed the light moments very much. It was obvious Ji Sub had worked with the kids, and they adored him, which you can see in the Behind the Scenes out takes. Recommended.
Good TV show.

Why the love line
koleenromena11 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's a good spy series. Light comedy. What ruined it for me is the character they made of for the female lead.
Why make a love line? Her husband just died, there's only a day of grieving, her children aren't that young to have forgotten about their father so quickly. Next thing you know there's an unspoken development of feelings between the two leads. Adding romance wasn't such a good idea.
They made the female lead a little too nosy. She had to find out that the others are agents but they seem to have rushed it and in a way that makes the female lead annoying.

Something was missing

Warning: Spoilers
I liked this show enough to finish it but didn't love it. There was something missing and I cannot pinpoint it. I can, though, mention some of the things I didn't like about the show. One of the themes that ruin a show for me is too many unrealistic visits to hell's gates. I mean, c'mon!!! How many times can a person survive gunshots! I know it's the genre but still.
Another downside was the whole hidden mastermind thing. All the characters, no exceptions, are portrayed as extremely smart. Nobody doubted Director Shim with all the clues! I figured him out in the first scene which I also disliked because I lost the element of suspense.
The biggest flaw was the lack of chemistry. I love both leads and they're terrific actors. But seriously. So Ji Sub had more chemistry with Son Ho Jun and Kang Ki Young than he had in any of his scenes with Jung In Sun.
No chances of rewatching this. Got it off my plan-to-watch list and that's all.

SJS is so awesome with the kids!
shareen_shany4 December 2021
If you like action, comedy & a little romance thrown in it, then this is drama for you. And if you are expecting its to be swoonworthy then it is not. That is a little disappointing, as hoping to see them hugging and a little romance there isn't any, they stay neutral.
Not so much in favour of the lead actress, as she doesn't gives that romantic vibes towards the guy. The lead action SJS is so awesome, handsome & full of difference emotion! He has more chemistry with the 2 kids than the mom.
This is the second drama with him at Netflix that is worth watching.
Binge watch him again in this drama might consider but with the lead actress may not so encouraging though.

Packed with action, intrigue, and a whole lot of heart. If you're into spy thrillers with a touch of romance, this one will keep you hooked from start to finish!
First off, let's talk about So Ji-sub's performance as Kim Bon, aka Terius. This man is a total powerhouse on screen! He effortlessly switches between being a badass secret agent and a caring guardian to his neighbor's kids. So Ji-sub's charisma and charm make him the perfect leading man, and you can't help but root for him every step of the way.
Now, the plot - talk about edge-of-your-seat excitement! This series takes you on a roller-coaster ride of espionage, undercover missions, and unexpected twists. The way the story unfolds keeps you guessing, and just when you think you've got it all figured out, bam! There's another jaw-dropping revelation that leaves you gasping for breath.
But it's not all about the action and thrills. What sets this show apart is the heartwarming relationship between Kim Bon and the kids next door. The kinteractions between this unlikely family will have you grinning like a fool one moment and reaching for the tissues the next. The adorable and heart-melting moments between Kim Bon and the kids add a layer of sweetness to the drama.
And let's not forget about the romance! Jung In-sun as Go Ae-rin is a firecracker of a character. Her chemistry with So Ji-sub is off the charts, and their bickering-turned-flirting will make you swoon. The slow-burn romance between these two is just the icing on the cake, and you can't help but cheer them on to get together.
Now, I know some folks might think the drama has its fair share of clichés and predictable moments. But honestly, who cares when you're having this much fun? This knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat, and it's all part of the addictive and entertaining package.
In conclusion, this is a binge-worthy K-drama that offers the perfect blend of action, humor, and heart. So Ji-sub's compelling performance, the thrilling plot, and the adorable family moments make it a must-watch for any fan of spy dramas with a sprinkle of romance.
If you're in the mood for a wild ride with spies, secrets, and a dash of love, this is the K-drama to add to your watchlist. Just be warned - once you start, you won't be able to stop, and you'll find yourself eagerly waiting for the next thrilling episode!

You might want to watch it if you're looking for a comedy secret agent series. Unlike most secret agent stories, it concludes happily. Wow, how cool is it to predict what is happening today, like in Episode 10 about the Corona virus?
The one that mentions Corona virus

A mother of twins husband is murdered and because of this a disgraced agent who happens to be her neighbour comes to her aid. Plenty of espionage action with some amusing moments on the side. Very well acted by all the cast and even though the story is predictable it moves at a good pace. Will the agent expose his innocence and also find love along the way ?
What's wrong with the casting
adnilsih-imdb6 August 2020
Was it the casting for the Go Ae-Rin's character that spoiled the whole series? I guess so. No building up in the importance as the main role to level up the other character's quality of acting and the good quality of production. I kept skipping and stopped watching after some episodes. Sorry for So Ji-sub's efforts.
Looses its appeal half way through

Up till about episode 12 I was scoring his an easy 10 wit is original ideas and fresh mature comedy. Then something happened and it turned into a rather ordinary spy caper with a big twist you could see from Mars. Only in the final episode did they try and bring it all back with the very cute kids and the KIS squad but the ending as trite and everything was too neat.
The beginning is really original but the producers lost their nerve about half way through.

A Mash-up of different Hollywood Films, very disappointing
grumpyredrose9 August 2019
This series is a mash-up of Bourne Identity, Mission Impossible, Kingsman, Taken, and The Pacifier.
Son Ji-Sub is a good actor, and I don't know why he accepted this project. The lead actress' acting has no depth, no wonder she was not the first choice to portray the character of Go Ae Rin.
The Writers of this series have no talent or whatsoever. The writers lacked creativity and just took parts from different Hollywood blockbuster movies, stitched them up together and gave it the title "Terius Behind Me."
The writers could not even come up of another name for a shop, that they just changed "Kingsman" to "King's bag." Lacking creativity aren't we now.
If I could give this a .5 star, I would.
Hopefully Ji-Sub will not take projects like this, ever again.
